ELEMENTS OF EXISTENCE

‘’

A PERSONAL MESSAGE

What fascinates me most is the natural surface of a diamond - what I have come to call its skin. It is this part of the diamond that carries the story of our Earth. Pressure. Darkness. Movement. And an almost unimaginable amount of time. All of this has left its traces on the surface of the diamond. Over the past year, my diamond lapidary and I have been experimenting with cutting and polishing, deliberately leaving parts of their natural skin untouched. Something magical began to happen. The refined facets catch and release the light, while beside them, the rough surfaces carry the mystery of where the diamond came from. This became the starting point for Elements of Existence. A journey born deep within the Earth, where diamonds were shaped by pressure, darkness, and immeasurable time. Across the creations, raw surfaces, natural inclusions, organic color and refined craftmanship

come together to explore vision, light, oneness, transformation, earth, stillness, fire, awakening, creation, time, and the path within. Like the diamond, we too are shaped by time, pressure, and transformation. Our rawness and our refinement are not opposites. They are different chapters in the same existence. The diamond is not beautiful because it escapes darkness. It is beautiful because it carries the story of having passed through it. Each piece represents a different expression of existence, yet all tell one story: the journey from earth to awareness, from darkness to light, and from matter to meaning. I hope you will enjoy their subtle magic and mystery. The creations from Elements of Existence aspire to remind us that we too are born of Earth, formed by Time, and awakened by Life. Namaste,

Two creations. One extraordinary connection.

Mārga and Pancha Bhuta, SHAMBALLA JEWELS Special Creations 2026.

PANCHA BHUTA THE FIVE ELEMENTS

SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with Unique Raw Diamonds PANCHA BHUTA, meaning ‘Five Great Elements’ in Sanskrit, is compossed of Prithvi (Earth), Jala (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), and Akasha (Space). In Indian philosophy, together, they represent the elemental forces through which the material world takes form. Before form became familiar, there were the elements. Earth gave substance. Water gave flow. Fire transformed. Air carried movement. Space allowed everything to exist. Across PANCHA BHUTA, diamonds appear in dramatically different natural expressions - pale, dark, earthy, translucent and rugged - yet together they become one world.

MĀRGA every stone, a step. every step, a journey

SHAMBALLA® Necklace with a Unique Black Centre Diamond

MĀRGA is Sanskrit for path, way, or road. In Indian spiritual traditions, MĀRGA is more than a physical route. It represents a path toward understanding, awareness and liberation. Different people may pass through different paths, yet every experience is part of the journey inward toward understanding. What makes MĀRGA particularly meaningful is the constant movement between raw and refined. The raw diamonds are not less complete than the polished gold. The darker stones are not inferior to the brighter ones. Each carries a different expression, and each is necessary to create unity in the piece. No true path is made of only light.

PRITHVI

the living earth

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with Unique Green Diamonds Prithvi is the Sanskrit name for Earth. In ancient Indian tradition, it is the personification of the Earth as the sustaining ground of life. Spiritually, it represents grounding, stability, nourishment, patience and our connection to nature. The Green Diamonds evoke moss, vegetation and growth, while the Smoky-grey Diamonds and darkened gold beads bring the elements of stone, mineral and soil. All, securely strung on a muted green string, enhancing the earthy palette. Every diamond in the bracelet differs in colour, transparency and character, yet all originate from the same ancient ground: our beloved Earth. There is no single centre-stone since the philosophy belongs to the entire circle, gently reminding us to live in unity with nature.

VAJRA

the indestructible

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Grey Raw Centre Diamond VAJRA is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. Across Hindu and Buddhist traditions, it became a powerful symbol of strength, indestructibility and an awakened state that cannot be broken or diminished. The grey centre diamond expresses natural inclusions, textures and irregular formations rather than conventional clarity - revealing characteristics, forces and conditions under which the diamond came into existence. VAJRA reminds us that strength does not always appear flawless. Sometimes the marks left by pressure are precisely what reveal how powerful something has become or is becoming.

GARBHA the universe within

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond

GARBHA is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning interior or ‘‘that which holds within’’. Spiritually, it represents the unseen space where creation and transformation take place before being revealed to the world. Creation does not begin where we can see it. It begins within. GARBHA represents the sacred stage of becoming and the hidden interior where transformation takes place before revelation. At the centre of the bracelet is a diamond with a preserved hidden world - earthy colour, shadow and natural formations suspended inside with memories of our Earth. Surrounded by smoky diamonds and dark gold, it becomes a symbol of the unseen place where transformation begins.

SŪTRA

the sacred thread

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with Unique Raw & Faceted Diamonds

In Hindu, Buddhist and Jain traditions, the word SŪTRA developed a deeper meaning - a teaching in which individual ideas are strung together by one underlying truth, like beads connected by a thread. SŪTRA becomes a metaphor for the invisible connections that run through our lives, quietly threading our collected memories, and honours all sacred matters. Every stone has travelled its own path. Some carry shadow, others light. Some remain close to nature, while others reveal the touch of human craftsmanship. Yet none stands alone. The forms may change, but the connection remains.

TAPAS

the inner fire

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Brown Centre Diamond TAPAS is an ancient Sanskrit concept associated with inner heat, discipline, concentrated energy and transformation. It represents a fire that does not necessarily burn visibly, but as a force, strengthening from within. At the centre of TAPAS, a deep earthen diamond holds flashes of brilliance within, surrounded by smoky diamonds and shadowed gold. It becomes a symbol of the invisible fire that works beneath the surface - the energy that strengthens, refines and transforms without needing to be seen. Transformation is not always gentle. Some of our greatest strength is created under pressure. Sometimes, it becomes a diamond.

KĀLA

time - the eternal force

A SHAMBALLA® Necklace with a Unique Centre Diamond

In ancient Sanskrit, KĀLA means time. It is more than the passing of hours - it represents time as an unstoppable cosmic force, through which everything is created, transformed and eventually returned. It also carries deep associations with Shiva, who transcends ordinary time. Hidden beneath the Earth, beyond sight and memory, time worked silently - pressure becoming form, carbon becoming diamonds, moment becoming eternity. Across KĀLA, darkness moves through polished, matte, carved and natural forms until it reaches the raw diamond at the centre, carrying the marks of its ancient becoming. The raw centre stone becomes a reminder that time does not always create perfection - it creates character, history and transformation. Before it knew light, it knew darkness.

DHYĀNA

the state of meditation

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond DHYĀNA is the Sanskrit term for meditation and deep contemplation. In Hindu and Buddhist traditions, it represents the gradual settling of the restless mind into focused awareness, clarity and inner stillness. Meditation is not necessarily about emptying the mind or removing everything imperfect. It is about learning to observe what is already there with clarity and without disturbance. The repeated platinum beads can be seen like a mantra - returning awareness again and again to one point. At the centre of DHYĀNA rests a solitary diamond, carrying the visible traces of its natural formation while allowing light to pass through it. It becomes a point of awareness, honouring the space between thoughts - the moment when we stop searching outward and begin to see inward.

SHUNYA

the sacred emptiness

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with Unique Raw Diamonds SHUNYA means empty, void, or zero in Sanskrit. In Indian and Buddhist philosophy, emptiness does not simply mean nothingness. It points toward openness, impermanence and possibility - a space from which form can arise and into which it can return. Before form, there is space. SHUNYA asks us to look beyond the objects themselves and notice the space that allows them to exist. At the heart of SHUNYA is not another jewel, but the space from which every possibility can emerge. The diamonds move through many expressions: raw, faceted, translucent and brilliant while the centre remains untouched. SHUNYA honours the sacred emptiness from which all form can arise and to which all form eventually returns.

In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Shamballa refers to a mythical kingdom often associated with peace and harmony. It can also be understood symbolically as a state of inner peace and enlightenment, rather than only a physical place.

NĪLAKANTHA

the blue-throated one

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with Unique Raw Diamonds NĪLAKANTHA is an ancient name of Shiva, meaning “the blue-throated one.” During the Samudra Manthana, the Churning of the Cosmic Ocean, Shiva consumed the deadly poison Halahala to protect creation - containing it made his throat blue. Shiva did not allow it to consume him; he contained it, demonrating the ability to encounter darkness without allowing it to become his nature. Across NĪLAKANTHA, flashes of blue-green emerge through smoky diamonds and shadowed gold, carrying the same symbolism of strength and transformation. NĪLAKANTHA honours the power to hold darkness within our experience while continuing to carry light.

ANANTA

the infinite

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Black Centre Diamond ANANTA means endless, infinite or “without limit” in Sanskrit. In ancient Indian philosophy, it represents what exists beyond a defined beginning or end - the eternal nature of existence and time. Formed beyond human memory, the diamonds of ANANTA travel around an unbroken circle - each different, yet each formed beneath the Earth for an unimaginable passage of time. Their different colors and forms are reminders that nature can continually change its expression while remaining part of something far greater. At its heart remains a diamond close to its original state, carrying the marks of a journey measured not in years, but in geological time. ANANTA honours what cannot be contained by a beginning or an end - infinity itself.

JVALA

the living flame

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond JVALA, meaning flame in Sanskrit, represents fire as a force of illumination, energy and transformation. It is the light that emerges from within - a symbol of an inner force that continues to burn even when surrounded by darkness. At the centre of JVALA rests a smoky grey diamond carrying a remarkable orange inclusion, an unexpected flash of warmth emerging from within its ancient body. Around it, the warm gold tones echo the colour of the hidden flame, while the surrounding Grey Diamonds create a continous movement between shadow and light.

SAMSARA

the eternal cycle

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond SAMSARA is an ancient Sanskrit concept central to Hindu and Buddhist traditions, referring to the continuous cycle of existence, change, death and rebirth. For this creation, its meaning is not about an ending, but about the endless nature of transformation. Around an eternal circle, diamonds of different colors, textures and forms become chapters of the same existence. Some hold light. Others carry shadow. Some appear refined, while others preserve more of their natural character. SAMSARA honours the beauty of becoming - the understanding that every transformation is not an ending, but another passage within an infinite journey.

ARUNA

the first light

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond ARUNA in Sanskrit evokes the reddish-golden glow of dawn and is associated with Aru - the charioteer of Surya, the Sun. Symbolically, it is the light that appears before sunrise and the first indication that darkness is beginning to give way. Dawn is powerful because the sun has not yet fully appeared, yet darkness has already begun to change and the first traces of light emerge. Earthy diamonds move through shades of dusk, touched by warm Rose Gold and scattered brilliance, until their warmth gathers in the elongated centre diamond - a symbol of clarity, hope and awakening before our path becomes clear.

SAVITR

the awakening sun

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond SAVITR is an ancient Vedic solar deity associated with the life-giving and awakening power of the sun. It is invoked in the revered Gayatri Mantra, where divine solar brilliance is contemplated as a force that illuminates the intellect and awakens consciousness. As such, SAVITR represents more than sunlight - it is the power behind illumination. Across SAVITR, diamonds move through shades of honey-yellow and ancient gold, carrying warmth in an unbroken circle. At the centre, a golden diamond gathers radiance and honours the light that does more than illuminate what surrounds us - it awakens what already exists within us.

ADVAITA

the beauty of oneness

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond ADVAITA means “not two” or “non-duality” in Sanskrit. Rooted in ancient Indian philosophy, it expresses the idea that things which appear different or separate can ultimately belong to one indivisible reality. ADVAITA teaches us to look beyond apparent opposites. Nature and human creation do not have to exist separately. Neither do imperfection and refinement, darkness and brilliance, or what something was and what it becomes. The centre diamond embodies this beautifully: transformation has changed its appearance without changing its essence. DVAITA celebrates the union of nature and creation - a reminder that what appears divided may, at its deepest level, be one.

ANKURA

the first sprout

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond ANKURA means sprout in Sanskrit - the first emergence of life from earth. It represents new beginnings, renewal, growth and the hidden potential that quietly develops before revealing itself to the world. The black-included centre diamond expresses deep, mysterious inclusions, evoking the darkness and richness of the earth - the hidden space from which life begins. The vivid Green Emeralds represent the first signs of growth and renewal, while the white gold elements bring flashes of brightness between them - light reaching the emerging life.

MANDALA

the sacred circles

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Yellow Diamond MANDALA means circle or “sacred arrangement” in Sanskrit. Across Hindu and Buddhist traditions, the mandala represents a universe brought into order - a symbolic world in which many different elements exist around a centre and become part of one greater whole. At the heart of MANDALA rests a golden-yellow diamond, glowing like a concentrated point of energy. From that centre, the bracelet unfolds outward into green, white, gold and deeper tones - moving between natural gemstones, polished metal and pavé brilliance. Each piece appears as a different world, orbiting within the same universe. Each creation remains itself, yet together they become something greater.

AKASHA

the infinite sky

A SHAMBALLA® Bracelet with a Unique Centre Diamond AKASHA means space or sky in Sanskrit. In Indian philosophical traditions, AKASHA is associated with the vast space within which all things exist - the unseen expanse that holds creation without being limited by it. At the centre of AKASHA rests a deep blue diamond, mysterious in colour and almost celestial in character. Around it, vibrant green emeralds create a landscape of life, while the white gold elements appear like points of light between earth and sky. Unlike ANKURA, where the dark centre represents the hidden earth from which life begins, AKASHA turns the composition outward and upward.
