Ekaah focuses on the adaptive reuse of the historic Corjuem Fort, transforming it into a vibrant amphitheatre while preserving its fundamental structure andessence
This project embodies the ideology of "unity beyond differences," reflecting a commitment to celebrating cultural diversity and historical significance.
The core design involves repurposing the fort's interior into an amphitheatre, a dynamic space that fosters community engagement, artistic expression, and cultural events.
By integrating contemporary functionality with historical preservation, the amphitheatre will serve as a testament to thefort'senduringlegacy while breathing new life intoitsancientwalls.
Surrounding the fort, I have designed an outer sanctum that serves as a harmonious extension of themainstructure.
This area includes a display space dedicated to showcasing the rich history, and significance ofCorjuemFort.

The windows in west facing facade have high lintel height of 2.4m and sill height of 2m. These act like clerestory windows allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the room thus reducing the cost of artificial lightingandenergyconsumption.
The existing partition wall between the two rooms is replaced by a 115mm thk insulated wall with Acoustic fixed glass above This acoustic glass allows light to transmitbutpreventsnoisetransmission
