FUND THE FUTURE

Innovation • Manufacturing • Art • Design • Engineering The IMADE space at Kennedy Catholic High School will provide a high-tech, hands-on, creative environment dedicated to encouraging and challenging students’ imaginations. Our students will design, experiment, build, and invent, with the support of a designfocused, STEAM curriculum. Learning in the IMADE space will inspire students to become independently capable of expressing creative confidence and curiosity within their environment. Through a fluid, interdisciplinary, hands-on process students will challenge and develop design thinking skills while simultaneously building current, in-demand, marketable skills. Two years ago, we raised funds for the construction of the IMADE space. This year, $10,000

A Messa g e fr om o u r preside n t / pr in c i p a l Lancer Family & Friends, Welcome to the 2021 KATCH Auction: Step Up. This is my first auction at Kennedy Catholic High School, so I needed to take a step back and learn the long history behind the successful Kennedy Action Toward Christian Heritage auction that began in 1973. Tonight, you are continuing that legacy by stepping up to support our students at Kennedy Catholic and, hopefully, walking away with an amazing “catch” (or two!) from the silent and live auctions. This evening would not be possible without parents, guardians, and community supporters like you. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students at Kennedy Catholic, I would like to thank you for your steadfast belief that our mission here at Kennedy Catholic - to graduate leaders following Christ in a school community that is accessible, diverse, and committed to pursuing the fullest potential of every student - is valuable and worthy of your continued support. We are also grateful to all the

individuals and businesses who donated items, sponsorships, and time to tonight’s event. Two years ago, we raised funds for the construction of the IMADE space - an Innovation, Manufacturing, Art, Design, and Engineering space - where we will provide students with a high-tech, hands-on, creative environment, and curriculum dedicated to encouraging and challenging their imaginations. This year, the auction Fund-A-Need donations will help purchase the equipment necessary to create and buildout the space scheduled to open for the coming 2021-2022 school year. We hope you will give generously so that through the powerful words of “I made this,” you will be building tomorrow’s leaders, today. Thank you, again, for being with us tonight. Now get ready to STEP UP and make a difference. In Peace,

Matthew Mohs 6

Spons o r t h a n k y o u The KATCH Auction would not be possible without the generous support of our valued sponsors and donors. The auction plays a significant role in providing financial support for the school to ensure an education at Kennedy Catholic High School remains accessible, transformative, and equal to the challenges of our time. Many devoted sponsors, friends, and volunteers help make the KATCH Auction the signature fundraising event for the school. A heartfelt thank you to our Lancer benefactors and patrons (as of March 1, 2021), and thank you to each and every one of you for partnering with Kennedy Catholic High School.
