Nursing Leadership Rises in Phoenix with Rho Eta Eta Chartering
“The establishment of the Rho Eta Eta Chapter is both an honor and a responsibility,” says chapter leader. “As the first Chi Eta Phi chapter in Arizona, we are committed to elevating nursing practice, advocating for underserved communities, and strengthening public health across the region. This is only the beginning we look forward to serving with purpose, passion, and unity”
The Rho Eta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated announces its chartering in Phoenix, Arizona on May 24, 2025, marking a historic moment as the very first chapter of the organization established in the state of Arizona This milestone expands the Sorority’s national footprint and reinforces its mission of “Service for Humanity” across the Southwest
In its short but impactful history, the Rho Eta Eta Chapter has already demonstrated exceptional commitment to community health and professional excellence The chapter has partnered with local organizations serving the unhoused community, providing health support, resources, and compassionate outreach to some of Phoenix’s most vulnerable residents
The chapter was also recently recognized by the local chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) for its meaningful contributions to advancing the nursing profession, supporting health equity initiatives, and promoting community wellness This acknowledgement affirms Rho Eta Eta’s growing presence as a trusted community partner and a driving force for positive change in Arizona
The chartering of the Rho Eta Eta Chapter brings together a distinguished group of nurses and nursing leaders dedicated to excellence in clinical practice, education, and service Their collective vision is to build sustainable community programs, support professional development for nurses at all levels, and create pathways for innovation and leadership in healthcare
