WEEKLY WALMART TRIP
On Thursday, July 24 we will take the bus to the 7PM show, Riverboat Revival. In the summer of 1835, a showboat called the “Gospel Queen” appeared in the little river town of Danner’s Cove, bringing a message of repentance and salvation. Seventy years later, Grandpa Holt longs to once again experience the Riverboat Revival. Contact Lora to sign up (417-833-6104 or lmassey@mvlife.org). LUNCH AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER The Community Center Dining Room is serving a buffet lunch each Wednesday. The buffet is available 11:30-1:00 and the cost is only $5 per person. No reservations are required and you are welcome to bring guests. A full menu will be emailed and available for pick up at the Community Center. We are also interested in your ideas for the menu. During April and May we saw over 200 volumes added to the shelves, and we currently have over a hundred twenty more just waiting to be processed! To make room, we had to do some shifting, including moving the biblical fiction section to the shelving to the right of the storeroom door. If you haven’t explored the library recently (or ever!), come check it out—we’re located on the second floor of the Northwood Apartments above the A & B Buildings entrance.

Improve cognitive skills, boost mood, and reduce stress and anxiety by taking a painting class with us at the Northview Center just a hop and a skip from the Village. I have worked at the Village for three and a half years in the position of Director of Dining. I love my job, especially the residents. I love to serve them and help put a smile on their faces. In my spare time I love to read.
