CEO Report HAPPY NEW YEAR! To go along with your new year resolutions, I have a few things you should consider doing this year. You can arrange these in any order of importance, just so long as each one is considered for completion this year. 1. Hug your spouse, kids, grandchildren, siblings and loved ones as often as you possibly can and tell them you love them. We are not, nor are they, guaranteed tomorrow. 2.Be sure to introduce your unsaved loved ones to Jesus. Without Him, eternity will be quite gruesome. 3.Change one thing in your diet that could make you healthier than last year. This just may give you a longer life. 4.Add a few minutes a day of exercise to increase your heart rate and oxygen levels, adding life to your living. 5.Share God’s love to those around you. It could be by your words or your actions. They just may need that little bit of love to make their day better. 6.Create or update your will, add Maranatha Village as a beneficiary. This will ensure our ministry continues and you will feel complete knowing you have planted into this ministry. 7.Create or update your power of attorney. This will ensure your wishes for your healthcare are properly followed by someone you love. 8.Pray about volunteering here at Maranatha Village. We could use help visiting our frailest residents or checking on our ‘shut-ins’. If you can’t physically work, then pray for our volunteer program. I could go on and on, but I feel I have made my point. We should be ready for the return of Jesus today but live like it won’t happen for 100 years. So long as we have breath, God has a plan for you (Psalm 42:14) and God has a plan for Maranatha Village. Please consider being a part of it. God Bless. Brian Miller CEO
Afternoon Tea Community Center January 6 2:00 pm
Join Aegis Therapies for a traditional English afternoon tea led by our therapist from “across the pond,” Leanne. There will be a variety of teas to choose from along with traditional tea time treats. You are encouraged to bring your own tea cup & saucer but not required.

TAX PREPARATION It’s almost everybody’s favorite time of year-tax season! Peggy Horn will be at the Community Center for Independent Living resident appointments in February, March, and early April. TOWN HALL The next Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 30 at 2:30 PM at the Village Chapel. In Spain, it's customary to eat 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight, one for each chime of the clock, symbolizing good luck for each month of the coming year. In Japan, families gather to enjoy a special meal called "osechi ryori," which includes a range of dishes, each with symbolic meanings for health, happiness, and prosperity. The Danish tradition involves jumping off a chair at midnight, literally leaping into the new year.
