Sunday June 11 2023 THE SANTA FE NEW MEXICAN 18 The Institute of American Indian Arts is the only college in the world dedicated to the study of contemporary Native American and Alaska Native arts, and serves both Native and non-Native American students IAIA offers undergraduate degrees in Cinematic Arts and Technology, Creative Writing, Indigenous Liberal Studies, Museum Studies, Performing Arts, and Studio Arts; graduate degrees in Creative Writing, Studio Arts, and Cultural Administration; and certificates in Broadcast Journalism, Business and Entrepreneurship, Museum Studies, and Native American Art History The 2023 Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Commencement brought families and friends together for a vibrant intertribal and multicultural celebration of IAIA’s most recent graduates This year, graduating students from 2022 and 2023 were recognized with 71 degrees and certificates, including 22 master’s degrees and a certificate of recognition, 36 bachelor’s degrees, 3 associate degrees, and 9 certificates.
