EMBATTLED SANTOS HIT WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMPLAINT

Add sexual harassment charges to the growing list of complaints against disgraced Congressman George Santos of New York.

On Feb. 3, a former volunteer aide for Santos filed a sexual harassment complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics, alleging the gay Republican made unwanted advances before rescinding a job offer that paid $50,000 annually.

In the complaint, Derek Myers, a 30-year-old journalist from Kentucky, accuses Santos of inappropriate touching. Santos, Myers wrote, “proceeded to take his hand and move it down my leg into my inner thigh and proceeded to touch my groin.”

The incident, allegedly, took place in Santos’ Capitol Hill office, where the Santos told Myers he had a Grindr profile and invited him out to a karaoke bar, claiming his husband was out of town.

It’s the latest humiliating episode for Santos, who has admitted to lying about vast swaths of his past, including his work history, religion, education, etc.

“George Santos has seen more scandal in a few days and weeks than most elected officials will see in a lifetime,” tweeted Congressman Ritchie Torres, a gay Democrat who represents New York’s 15th congressional district and has emerged as Santos’ arch-rival.

Santos has yet to comment on Myers’ complaint. He stepped down from his two committee assignments, a decision House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called “appropriate” in light of an investigation by the Department of Justice into Santos’ campaign finances.
