What is Automotive Business Management?

Automotive business management focuses on providing the transportation industry with knowledgeable business managers prepared to enter various industries in the automotive field. The automotive business management program at SCCC offers proven training for personal and professional development in a challenging career. Students aquire hands-on experience with up-to-date equipment, such as industry parts cataloging, online electronic cataloging with local parts stores, and a state-of-the-art computerized inventory control system. With opportunities to work in the on-campus parts store and receive job-readiness and placement assistance, students are able to take advantage of the only automotive business management training program in Kansas during their time at SCCC.

Associate of Applied Science: 64-credit program (2 years) Certificate of Completion: 10 month program

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the SCCC automotive business management program have the opportunity to start their own business, work in retail sales and service, material management, inventory management, automotive parts stores, automotive dealerships, warehouse management, heavy truck parts businesses, or agriculture equipment parts businesses.
