AQUATICS
Now is the time to prepare for being around the water in summer. Learning to be water safe, and swim, is the number 1 defense against drowning and aquatic related accidents and injuries. Learning key skills like turning on the back and floating, treading water, and making forward progress toward safety are imperative for children to learn! Children as young as 6 months old can begin to learn water safety skills.
During the winter and spring, SPCC schedules learn to swim and water safety classes on weekday evenings and weekends. Classes are popular, so registering early is recommended.
