To some of us, it might be someone who’s shaped a cultural moment; to others, something that’s stood the test of time. The Spring/Summer 2026 issue of Blush is about celebrating all of that. The people who have influenced our lives, the products we’ll keep reaching back for year after year, and the breathtaking destinations that fit no other description than simply…iconic. On page 28, we’ve got a peek inside Dua Lipa’s beauty bag, while celebrity stylist Oriona Robb is taking us through her most iconic wardrobe staples to buy now and love forever, on page 62. We’re also taking you through the doors of Europe’s most iconic longevity retreats (page 80), serving up some summer recipe inspiration with Emily English (page 74), and showing you how to style Pantone’s Colour of the Year in your home (page 57). On the cover is one of pop culture’s newer icons - Selling Sunset’s Bre Tiesi - who’s speaking candidly about motherhood on-screen, what it takes to make an “unconventional” relationship work, and why she’ll never apologise for being herself (page 14). I hope you love reading it.

PUTTING CONFIDENCE BACK ON THE AGENDA An update from cancer support charity, Look Good Feel Better, on the amazing work they’re doing this year
OUR IMPACT AT A GLANCE For over three decades, we have been part of communities across the UK, supporting people affected by cancer at moments when reassurance and connection matter deeply. Based on feedback from over 1,800 patients who accessed our cancer support workshops throughout 2025, a huge 99% said they would recommend our services to others going through cancer treatment. A further 96% felt that our workshops are a valuable part of someone’s treatment plan, highlighting the role our services play alongside clinical care. 95% said our workshops had a positive impact on their mental health, and found meeting others in a similar situation beneficial.
A Message from our CEO, Mark Flannery “Over the past year, we have supported over 14,300 people living with cancer delivering our confidence-boosting workshops and services, delivered both face-to-face in hospitals and cancer centres, and through our expanding digital offering.

By combining expert guidance with peer connection, our workshops help people manage the visible side effects of cancer treatment - from hair loss and skin changes, to changes in body image - while also providing something less tangible but equally vital: reassurance, community, and hope.”
Charity Partnerships: New Venue Launch in Preston Last year, we relaunched our cancer support services in Preston, made possible through close collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Help, re-establishing local cancer support for people across Lancashire. “We were thrilled to reinstate these services thanks to the incredible support of CancerHelp Preston and Macmillan”, says Bethan Davies,
Look Good Feel Better Regional Manager of the launch. “By working together and sharing a common goal, we’re ensuring patients across Lancashire are better signposted to the services available to support them throughout their cancer journey.”
Charity Partnerships: New Venue Launch in Sherwood Forest We are proud to share that we have also launched our Look Good Feel Better workshops at the new YMCA Community & Activity Village in Sherwood Forest, the first-ever Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre. This new centre, developed in partnership with Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support, is a significant milestone in providing accessible cancer information and support in a welcoming community environment. The YMCA is excited to be part of this ground-breaking initiative, offering a place where people affected by cancer can access the help and support they need, close to home. “It’s fabulous that Look Good Feel Better have come with us to our unique community-based Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre in Newark’s YMCA Community & Activity Village”, Andrea Murphy, Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service Lead notes. “The supportive ambiance of the sessions never fails to amaze me, and the ethos fits perfectly with our community venture.”

Spring clean your
fitness routine Five fresh ways to reset your healthy habits this spring
Spring is the perfect moment to refresh your routine - especially if your New Year motivation has faded. Here are five quick ways to reinvigorate your fitness habits and set yourself up for a stronger spring and summer. 1
Rest your goals
Still following the same January plan? Now’s the time to reassess. Whether your focus has shifted from weight loss to strength building - or you’re chasing a new milestone like your first pull-up updating your goals ensures your workouts actually support what you want to achieve. 2
Refresh your nutrition
If your progress has stalled, your nutrition might need a tune-up. A short period of calorie tracking can help you check you’re fuelling properly, but even simple steps like boosting protein and adding more fruit and veg can help you feel energised again. Spring is also a great time to try new healthy recipes.
3
Try something new
Stuck in a motivation slump? Shake things up. A new class, a fresh set of exercises or an active hobby like dancing can reignite your enthusiasm and make movement feel exciting again. 4
Sign up for a challenge
If deadlines spur you on, commit to a fitness event. A 5k run, charity walk, obstacle course or bike ride can give your training a clear purpose - and keep you accountable while supporting a good cause. 4
Commit to 30 minutes a day
Spring brings busier schedules, but consistency doesn’t need to disappear. Aim for just 30 minutes of activity each day to stay on track while still giving yourself flexibility for social plans and sunny evenings.

Bre - you’re everywhere right now. You’ve been starring on Selling Sunset since 2023, you’re starting a Pilates franchise - you’re working on a shoe line, merchandise, and another yet-to-be-announced TV show - When do you actually manage to get downtime? Bre: I don’t think I’ve had downtime in the last five years. For some weird reason, I always think I should get more animals or responsibilities to add to my plate or something. Right now I have two horses - and a mini, so I say two and a half - chickens, birds, dogs, fish, everything. The whole farm. I’m pretty busy…I’m losing my mind! Even when it comes to time off, I use that to do things with my son. Yesterday - a Saturday morning - he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese, so I’m like, all right… I guess we’re going to Chuck E Cheese. I don’t really have downtime. Maybe one day.
You’ve been pretty busy with Selling Sunset the last few years, and fans were left wondering what would happen to the show after a dramatic Season 9 ending. Has filming started with Netflix for Season 10?
Tiesi blushmagazine.org.uk
Bre: I think due to all of the chaos that ensued last year, we’re making some changes. We always have new girls, but I think that this season they’re really trying to bring back the fun, the real estate, and the fashion, without it going so left and dark we’re trying to recalibrate. I think production is taking a little more time to be intentional with who they’ve cast, but from what I’ve heard, it’s looking really good. Filmingwise? Hopefully the end of March [2026], or at the latest, the beginning of April.
“I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP BELIEVING THAT EVERYTHING’S FAKE - I THINK PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME GRASPING THAT WOMEN ARE CAPABLE OF BEING IN THIS INDUSTRY” It sounds like there’s going to be a big cast shake-up. How are you feeling going into the next season of the show? Bre: Well…I’m glad some of them are gone [laughs] - but we do have some new people. I’m here to work and do what I need to do, so I’m hopeful this season can be a little more fun.
What’s one myth you wish people would stop believing about the show? Bre: I wish people would stop believing that everything’s fake. I think people have a hard time grasping that women are capable of being in this industry and selling - they forget that this is really two different jobs. The fashion and glam is the TV aspect, while the business aspect is separate…you wouldn’t be entertained if we didn’t have both.

Don’t get me wrong, some people sell a lot more than others, but you can look it up, you can see who has sold what - it’s not like we try to hide it. I wish it were [fake], it would make my job a lot easier. What you see is what you get.
“I’VE LEARNT THAT I’M ACTUALLY MORE RELATABLE THAN
I THOUGHT I WAS”
You’re no stranger to an onscreen feud, but it’s clear that through that, you’re always unapologetically Bre. It’s easy for the lines to get blurred between having an on-screen persona vs real life - how do you stay true to yourself with cameras around? Bre: I see this a lot, especially with new girls. I’ve never really understood it, because I believe if I’m being me, I can’t ever be caught up in a situation or get in my head about something I did. I can take
accountability, and I’m also very consistent in how I act - people know what’s going to p*** me off. If you’re being yourself, at the end of the day, you don’t regret anything because you’re reacting and doing things you would naturally do. The people who really put themselves in these situations are trying too hard to be someone else, and it just sounds like they have some other work to be done. I can take accountability for being a b****...maybe you could ask Chrishell.
Are there any situations from the show you wish you’d handled differently? Bre: Nope! I am who I am - if you’re going to poke the bear, you’re going to get bit. People are aware of who I am and how I move, so to me, if you do that, it’s just blatant disrespect and antagonising the situation. At that point I’m like whatever happens, happens, so I don’t regret anything I do. Even when it came to the situation with Chelsea [Lazkani] and her husband, I handled it the way I thought I should, so it doesn’t really matter to me what anyone else thinks about that.
Fans of the show seem to love that you’re unafraid to show that side of yourself. Is the reception what you expected? Bre: I’ve learnt that I’m actually more relatable than I thought I was. The response I got from people I wasn’t really expecting and it was really nice to see that I could just be myself. I’ve fought to figure out who I was as a person through all of the things that I’ve been through in life, so it’s nice to now have a platform where people appreciate that I stick to who I am, versus in real life where people want you to change. I’m genuine to myself; real people who have done the growth and want to be happy have a different level of insight and appreciation for someone who can genuinely be who they want to be, and do that out loud.
As of right now, where do you stand with the Selling Sunset girls? Photography: @jamesrudland
Bre: I’m cool with everybody except the obvious Chelsea and Chrishell. I mean she [Chrishell] isn’t even on the show anymore. Even Emma and I are cool.
What does loyalty mean to you in friendships? Bre: I struggle with that because nobody has loyalty - it’s actually really heartbreaking. Especially in this day and age, people think that you have to compromise loyalty and respect for success, but they actually go together.
16

BLUSH | B E A U T Y
Having people in your corner that are loyal, loyal friends; those are all things that are earned, and those are the things that I appreciate. I don’t give a s*** what you have or what you look like. If you don’t have loyalty to the people around you, that’s an instant no because that tells me more about your character than anything.
You and Emma had a pretty strained friendship in season 8 over her loyalty to Chelsea Lazkani. How have you patched things up? Bre: I was never mad at Emma when it happened. I know Emma very well, and she’s literally one of the sweetest people; I think that in her heart and in her head, she was doing what she thought was right. She’s very passionate about the people that she cares about, and she had an upstanding relationship with Chelsea before I was ever there, and I respect that loyalty. We’re not besties, but we’re good.
Does that mean you’ll have a more peaceful season 9?... Bre: I say that every season!
There’s speculation the evericonic Christine Quinn could be making a return to the show - and frankly, your energy together would be unmatched. How would you feel about working with her on Selling Sunset?
Photography: @concordemedialondon
Bre: I’ve always thought she was hilarious, like, she’s very much my vibe. We are very similar - she understands the assignment, and we know what we’re here for. I don’t know anything about where she’s at [with re-joining the show]. I don’t know how the girls would feel - I don’t personally care - I think she’s f****** great for TV, and she started this show with everybody. I don’t think they would know what to do with us. I think that everybody would short-circuit!
blushmagazine.org.uk
Who keeps you most grounded among that chaos? Bre: Probably my best friends and my partner. It’s hard for people to understand this industry and what we deal with on top of trying to be a good, present parent. I have a really solid group of women around me, and we really support each other. Instead of “let’s go to the club and get drunk”, we’re doing vision boards and talking to each other about how we can help each other this year.

work, and how I want it to work - and I think that’s what’s great about it. I don’t explain myself; I just live my life in my own space. When I’m secure, I’m happy, I have my own home life, why would I let some random human that knows nothing about me and nothing about my relationship seep into my thoughts and emotions? It’s not logical. You only give things power that you want to have power and grow, so I don’t even entertain people’s opinions.
The two of you share three-yearold Legendary. How has becoming a mother changed your approach to balancing business and life?
You’re in an ‘open’ relationship, and that’s something that caused friction with some of your co-stars, who don’t approve of your choices. What does it take to make an unconventional relationship work? Bre: I mean, it’s unconventional, so it works the way I want it to work, or when I want it to

Bre: His temperament. He’s really good at just being grounded - he doesn’t let things affect him. I’m a hot-headed b**** for sure, so I’m like, “how do you sit there and deal with this? Like, how does this not bother you?” He also tries to teach me to let things go. Watching somebody who’s had so much success and been in this industry for so long, dealing with so much and not letting it affect him at all, is the craziest thing I’ve seen.

Bre: There’s always going to be a sacrifice, and these are his [Legendary’s] most formative years. You have such a small window with them being kids, and that beauty, innocence, and character development - you’re never going to get back - so at this point in my life I’m making a lot of sacrifices in business and personally. Even though it could kill a deal in a moment, if my kid needs me and I said I was going to be done at 3pm - I have to be done at 3pm. There’s always more money to be made - I know I’ll always figure it out.
What do you think motherhood has taught you about yourself?
Bre: It’s the biggest mirror in your face that you could ever have. I see my mannerisms, I see my attitude, I see my childhood trauma. I always thought I had self-awareness, but having a kid really forces you to sit down and re-evaluate everything. If he’s doing something, it’s because I’m teaching him it. It’s like 16 jobs in one being a mom.
What’s it like having a threeyear-old? Bre: He is a gremlin! He’s very emotional and so observant…he remembers everything. It’s like trying to barter with a 13-year-old to do anything, but then you still have the tantrums of a threeyear-old. It’s super interesting watching who he’s going to be.

Right now, he’s really into fighting. We’re all fighters in my family - my dad was a Hall of Famer, so everybody’s into MMA and boxing. It’s in my kid’s genes, so I have a whole boxing ring for him because he wants to hit everything. Sometimes I’m just like “oh s***, you’re only three!”
You’ve shown that stepping into motherhood doesn’t mean stepping away from the things that make you feel like yourself - and on Selling Sunset, you’ve become synonymous with great style. How would you describe your approach to fashion? Bre: I like to be very edgy, very monochromatic. I try to stay away from anything super feminine - it’s really rare that I’ll even wear a dress. I choose everything I wear. I love Dion Lee and Jacquemus - I follow a lot more stylists than celebrities because they’re
the visionaries behind the looks.
What’s one trend that you can’t get on board with?
your heart and your energy and your time. We’re all just clawing each other’s eyes out on Selling Sunset so you don’t really get into that type of stuff [laughs].
Bre: Low-rise jeans. I’m just not here for it.
Do you think you’d ever move further into the fashion industry, or are you firmly rooted in real estate?
QUICK FIRE: ICONS EDITION
Bre: I absolutely would love that. In the fashion world, you really have to earn respect to even be there. Hopefully, I would be embraced, because I really do care about it, and I’m very passionate about it - I would never want people to think I was just a celebrity trying to design. We’re trying to make it happen.
ONE MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE THAT FELT TRULY ICONIC?
Whether in your career or personally, you’re so multifaceted. Finally, what’s one thing you wish people knew about you?
Having a newborn baby and surviving filming this show for a year straight, not letting postpartum take me out. I did it all wearing Mugler and a diaper. I killed those first two seasons.
Bre: There’s just a lot more to me than I’m even comfortable showing everybody all the time. I very much like to live in this space of it being a privilege to be around me. It’s a privilege to have those layers to me and to have that access and relationship - it’s really something that’s earned. Those are the people who deserve

MOST ICONIC SELLING SUNSET LOOK? The funeral scene! Everybody went hard for that, and I was like, “Oh, I just had this in my closet - is this a big deal?” It’s funny with the show; a lot of the things that end up becoming big moments you don’t really anticipate.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN ICON? Being an icon is just being somebody who’s willing to take chances, willing to be bold, and owning who you are. Not many people are able to do that.

is the year of preventative skincare, and it’s timed perfectly for the rise of the hottest new ingredient in town: Ectoin. You may have noticed it popping up in more of your favourite brands, but what does it do? “Ectoin is a very small, naturally occurring molecule that comes from microorganisms which can survive in some of the harshest environments on the planet, including extreme heat, dryness or high UV exposure”, explains leading GP, and owner of The Aesthetics Doctor, Dr Ahmed El Muntasar. “In skincare, ectoin works by helping to shield skin cells and stabilise them, protecting against environmental stressors like UV radiation, pollution, and dehydration. “It essentially acts as a protective cushion for the skin cells, supporting the skin barrier and helping the skin retain moisture, which is why it’s often described as a barrier-supporting and cell-protective ingredient.” While he doesn’t believe it’ll be a

replacement for some of our favourite skin-loving ingredients, it’s merely the next step in the evolution of our routines; particularly as focus shifts to skin health. “People are far more aware of overtreating the skin now”, he says. “Ectoin has a good scientific background behind it, particularly around barrier support and cellular protection, which makes it appealing in modern formulations. “Ectoin is particularly wellsuited to people who need something gentle rather than irritating. It’s ideal for supporting the skin barrier, improving overall skin quality, and helping with dryness and hydration. It works very well for sensitive skin, compromised skin barriers, or anyone who finds stronger actives difficult to tolerate.” So, where should we be looking to get our ectoin? Does a higher price point always equal better in this case? “More expensive products are often priced that way because they contain multiple well-formulated ingredients working together, not just because of the ectoin itself”, Dr Ahmed notes.
“ECTOIN HAS A GOOD SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND, PARTICULARLY AROUND BARRIER SUPPORT AND CELLULAR PROTECTION” “I would always advise being vigilant and actually reading the ingredients list, rather than assuming price equals quality. Look for ectoin alongside good humectants, barrier-supporting ingredients, and minimal irritants. That’s a much better way forward than focusing purely on cost.” Consider our summer skincare, sorted.

Mineralize Skinfinish Powder, MAC, £34
Mineralize Skinfinish Powder, MAC, £34 “I use the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Powder on pretty much every single client. I actually use these in darker shades as bronzer because they are so buttery and blend beautifully! “It is packed with minerals and vitamin E, so it’s perfect to add dimension and radiance to the skin. It has a ‘second skin’ finish, which is so important for making sure that your makeup doesn’t look ‘caked’ - a problem often a result of applying too many heavy powders.”

This is my go-to powder on all shoots, red carpets, and events for clients because it is so finelymilled that it sets and the skin beautifully without any flashback. “Some loose powders can cling onto your foundation, but the Laura Mercier powder sets everything so beautifully without making the skin look flat.” Translucent Loose Setting Powder, Laura Mercier, £38.50

“Good makeup always starts with good skincare, and this moisturiser is something that I will purchase time and time again! It gives the most gorgeous glow to the skin and sits beautifully under makeup. “If you are not hydrating your skin properly before applying your makeup, then you will not get the best results. This Tatcha cream delivers deep hydration and is also incredible for mature skin. “It’s also got skin barrier support, and the biomimetic squalene helps seal in hydration whilst also improving the overall texture of the skin. “I also love the other ingredients in this cream, such as the fermented rice, green tea, and algae, which all help with enhancing skin plumpness.”
“This product has been a true must-have in my kit since the day it launched back in 2018 - it really is a filter in a bottle. “It soft-focuses the skin whilst giving the most gorgeous glow, and I use it on a lot of clients - especially those who are super busy and don’t necessarily have time to maintain their skincare in between jobs. “As soon as you apply Flawless Filter it gives the skin its bounce back within seconds! It’s also really hydrating and sits beautifully either on its own, or under makeup.”

When working on red carpets, it is so important to choose the right base products to use on clients depending on their desired look, while also bearing in mind how it’ll look under certain lighting, its longevity, and with flash photography. “I used this recently on a client for the British Fashion Awards, and the pictures spoke for themselves. How to get your tresses out of their winter funk and into shape, ready for the warmer months - with the help of leading salon, Brooks & Brooks
I
F you’re suffering from a severe case of winter hair, you’re not alone. Dryness, shedding, and breakage are just some of the side effects of cold weather and indoor heat. But, with summer on the horizon, you’ve come just at the right time, as there’s no better moment to start working on restoring your locks back to their full potential. But, before you start going crazy on the scalp serums and rosemary oil (although they’ll definitely help), remember, consistency is key, and the earlier you can implement a manageable routine, the more benefit you’ll see. This is a process, after all. Ready to trade frizz and breakage for hydration and density? Us too. Here’s everything you should be doing now, so your hair will thank you later, according to Katie Fitzgerald, Master Stylist & Colour Director at Brooks & Brooks…
n Condition every wash with a 3-5-minute massage to help stimulate the scalp and prevent shedding. n Apply a leave-in conditioner for lasting moisture.
One United MultiBenefit Treatment Spray, Redken, £25.50
4 HABITS TO FIX... n No harsh brushing! Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends. n Swap your cotton pillow case for a silk or satin one. n Don’t skip hairwash day - this can lead to build-up and can worsen shedding.
Hair Food (one-month supply), Glowwa, £34.99
n Make sure to use heat protection such as Redken One United, and minimise heat where you can.
ONCE PER WEEK: n Use a bond repair treatment such as Sam McKnight’s Deeper Love mask to target hair that is weak and prone to snapping - no more strawlike, blonde hair! n Use a moisturising mask such as the Kérastase Masque Crème HydraGlaze Mask, which restores softness and combats frizz.
If you are looking for long hair this summer, don’t fear getting a haircut. Consider a ‘micro trim’ - this service removes split ends without taking noticeable length. This is great for anyone who wants to keep their ends looking thicker and healthier whilst maintaining length, as you are losing less due to breakage.
YOUR NEW ROUTINE... 2-4 TIMES PER WEEK: n Wash your hair with Kérastase Genesis Shampoo, designed to gently clarify and reinforce fibre, reducing the risk of hair fall due to breakage.

Lucy’s story After being diagnosed at 22 years old, Lucy knows first-hand that life after cancer isn’t linear - but full of love
A
T just 22 years old, one month after graduating from university, Lucy was diagnosed with a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Overnight, her life went from planning her future, to wondering if she would even have one. Now, seven months cancer-free, Lucy’s navigating a different path: Readjusting to life. She spoke to us on navigating this next chapter of her journey…
my life! I’ve met so many amazing people and learnt so much about myself, as well as the importance of looking after yourself. “I don’t think I’d ever realised the true impact of ‘looking good’ until I had cancer, and spreading the message and supporting the charity has just been the most fulfilling and joyful experience!”
“I DON’T THINK I’D EVER REALISED THE TRUE IMPACT OF ‘LOOKING GOOD’ UNTIL I HAD CANCER”
What does ‘life after cancer’ mean to you? “I’m not sure that there is such a thing as life after cancer. There’s life after treatment, but cancer never really goes away. Although I am cancer-free, it’s still a big part of my life; it’s on my mind a lot. That’s not always a bad thing - it’s changed my life in many good ways. “Discovering a new me has been an interesting experience! I’m constantly evolving, and it’s hard to keep up. As soon as I get comfortable, something else has changed, and that can be exciting but also exhausting.”
How has your relationship with Look Good Feel Better evolved throughout this journey? “When I first attended a Look Good Feel Better workshop, I had no idea how much it would change

What has been one of the biggest realisations since you were first diagnosed?
“Tomorrow is not promised, and we are all so lucky to be here. Treat people with kindness, tell people you love them, and be happy.”

is only half the battle - cancer completely changes how you think about your health, your body, your relationships - pretty much every aspect of your life is affected, and that doesn’t just go away when treatment ends. “There’s also a weird kind of pressure to feel so grateful and so excited to get back to life, and whilst that is part of it, it’s not the whole story. There’s a lot of fear, anxiety, and isolation too.”
Do you have any advice for others going through a similar time?
Have there been any unexpected joys since finishing treatment? “Working with Look Good Feel Better has been such a highlight - especially being able to speak and share my story. “Talking in front of people was my worst nightmare, to the point that my voice would shake. Now I’ve grown and gained so much confidence, which has helped me in my everyday life.”
“LIFE AFTER CANCER IS NOT EASY, AND THAT’S OKAY - YOU CAN GET SO CARRIED AWAY WITH TRYING TO LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST” Is there anything you wish more people understood about life after cancer?
“Life after cancer is not easy, and that’s okay. You can get so carried away with trying to live your life to the fullest - or maybe you go the opposite way and are too scared to get back into the world. “Either way, you’re not alone, and there are so many people thinking the exact same thing! “Don’t be afraid to reach out to people and speak about how you feel because chances are you’ll feel a lot better.”
Why do you think support still matters after treatment ends? “Going through treatment is only half of the story! When you’re in the midst of fighting for your life, the way you look isn’t top priority, but when you start to get back to normal, realising how much you’ve changed can be difficult. “Having the support of a charity that gets that and doesn’t make you feel silly or vain for caring is so important.” Look Good Feel Better offers in-person and online workshops supporting those going through, or finishing cancer treatment. Workshops help attendees manage the physical impact of their circumstances, from skincare and makeup, to hand and nail care.
“I don’t think enough people realise that the physical illness

WATCHLIST Your definitive guide to the best TV to get stuck into in the coming months MARCH
Based on the novel by Araminta Hall and with an all-star cast including Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington, Imperfect Women sees a murder shatter the lives of a group of women in a decades-long friendship - and accidentally exposes their darkest secrets.
APRIL
Four years on from season two, East Highland’s dysfunctional friendship group is back - and they’re not in high school anymore. Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) have tied the knot, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is pursuing life as a sugar baby, and Rue (Zendaya) - well…it would appear she’s in trouble once again.
Beef, season two, Netflix Beef is back with a new cast and even newer beef; with Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton stepping into the roles of two Gen Z country club workers. The pair witness an alarming altercation between their boss and his wife, before using it as leverage for a series of chess-style manipulation tactics, unravelling a series of bigger scandals.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, season four, Hulu/Disney+ Fresh off the back of plenty of off-screen drama, the viral reality show returns to Hulu, taking us behind-the-scenes of MomTok Utah’s favourite Mormon friendship group - even if they’re not so keen on each other most of the time.
Euphoria, season three, HBO
Stranger Things: Tales from ‘85, Netflix It’s only been a few months since we said goodbye to Hawkins, but the Duffer Brothers are already acting as Executive Producers on Stranger Things’ new animated spin-off. The plot takes place somewhere between season two and three of the 80s fantasy show, with fan favourites including Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Will, and Max returning for another adventure.
Young Sherlock, season one, Prime Video Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Young Sherlock delves into Sherlock Holmes’ coming-of-age story, before he established himself as a worldfamous detective. Colin Farrell returns for season two of the acclaimed neo-noir detective drama, where he’ll be joined by a number of new faces including Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and special guest star, Shea Whigham. According to its plot, “John Sugar (Farrell) returns for a new case, tracking the troubled older brother of an up-and-coming local boxer as his search for his beloved missing sister continues. As the investigation expands into a city-wide conspiracy with sinister intentions, Sugar must reckon with himself to answer the question – how far will he go to do what’s right?”

The Testaments, season one, Hulu/Disney+ A sequel to the ever-popular Handmaids’ Tale series, Booker prize-winning The Testaments is another Margaret Attwood adaptation. Set 15 years after The Handmaids’ Tale in Gilead, the plot details the testimonies of three women: Aunt Lydia, Gilead native, Agnes, and Canadian-raised Nicole as the theocracy begins to collapse.
The Boys, season five, Prime Video Gearing up for its fifth and final season, The Boys follows a group of vigilantes attempting to expose and destroy corrupt superheroes. The show’s writer, Eric Kripke, has already confirmed it’s going to go out with a bang (and likely see more casualties). However, in more positive news, with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins joining the cast, fans will at least witness a long-awaited Supernatural reunion.
JUNE
Elle, season one, Prime Video If three movies and a musical wasn’t enough, a Legally Blonde prequel is coming to Prime Video this July (coinciding with the first movie’s 25th anniversary), following a young Elle Woods (Lexi Minetree) through high school in the 90s. If there wasn’t enough to be excited about, it’s already been renewed for a season two before it’s even begun.
AUGUST
Your Friends & Neighbors, season two, Apple TV Your Friends & Neighbors is a dark comedy/crime drama starring Jon Hamm as a disgraced hedge fund manager who, after losing his job and relationship, starts stealing from his wealthy neighbours to maintain his affluent lifestyle. UR twenties have become synonymous with being one of the most empowering, yet chaotic decades of our lives. You’re figuring out who you want to be, embracing all of the bad choices that come with it, and truthfully, you can quite often find yourself feeling a little lost along the way. But, whether aware of it or not, you’re actually going through some pretty major developmental milestones. The formation of our ‘frontal lobes’ is one that many of us refer to when finally gaining clarity on situations that have plagued us (the long-term maturation of the brain’s front region that peaks at around 25 years old), or, for the more astrological among us, when something goes wrong - Mercury’s retrograde is often to blame. But what if we told you that perhaps your questionable decisions weren’t just a product of instability, but rather, a cosmic shift written from the day you were born? The concept of your Saturn return has become a more prominent talking point online recently, largely thanks to Caggie Dunlop, who was seeking answers on her approach to 30 as to why she decided to ditch her Made in Chelsea lifestyle, move to LA, and restart as a new version of herself - changing everything from her career to her established friendships. Now 36, she’s a published Author and Podcast Host, dedicated to empowering others to embrace the inevitable outlook change coming their way - whether they realise it or not.
So, what the heck is a Saturn return? Well, your Saturn Return is something that happens around every 29 and a half years, when Saturn returns to the same place in the sky it was on the day you were born. “You’ll start to feel this big shift in your life where perhaps your career will change, or your relationships will change”, Caggie tells us. “It can be a crumbling of everything, which feels huge, but it’s essentially about an initiation

into adulthood, and also about putting you back on a path that is authentic and truthful to who you are, not who you’ve been pretending to be.” Saturn is thought to be associated with karma, responsibility, discipline, and boundaries, so some people find this period challenging, particularly if the universe is trying to force you away from a career, relationship, or habit that’s maybe not as good for you as you thought. That being said, Caggie urges us to embrace the change: “A major part of the pain that we go through during our Saturn return isn’t actually what’s happening - It’s our resistance to what’s happening. “It’s us trying to hold on to a version of ourselves that we have outgrown, that is outdated. We want to hold onto the familiar, even if it’s bad for us. If you’re one of those people who feels like everything is coming crumbling down and you’re having a massive identity shift, you need to trust that what is aligned for you authentically will not slip away - but what isn’t, will.” She adds: “That doesn’t necessarily make it easier in the moment, but it does in the long run because you’ll be able to retrospectively look back and see that something was wrong all along.

“BY THE TIME YOU GET TO YOUR SECOND SATURN RETURN, IT’S MORE ABOUT THE LEGACY YOU’RE LEAVING AND WHAT YOU’VE BUILT UNTIL THIS POINT” 44

isn’t your only Saturn return. You’ll almost certainly experience two in your lifetime (in your 50s), and if you’re lucky, three (in your late 80s). Your first one will likely be the most transformational, but you’ll get mini visits from the universe in between to keep you in check and bring new opportunities. “Saturn has seasons, and they last seven years - which are your Saturn squares. That means you get these mini initiations every seven years, where similar life themes, challenges, and opportunities will come up. “By the time you get to your second Saturn return, it’s more about the legacy you’re leaving and what you’ve built until this point.” She concludes: “People have a lot more awareness than they did 20 years ago, in terms of how much information is available to us. “You didn’t have this abundance of information about opportunities, different careers, or alternative ways of living life - your Saturn return is about living a life that’s authentic to you, and that is what people want now more than anything.”

“For me, the version of myself I had created in my twenties, trying to be who I thought I needed to be, I felt this sense of needing to change - not wanting to change - needing to change. “I moved away from the friendship circles that I had been surrounded by because I didn’t feel they were very healthy. I remember my friends back in London thought I’d gone a bit crazy, but when I’d actually gone through it, I was just living my life. “It felt like riding a bike without stabilisers for the first time; I had the infrastructure, both internally and externally, to feel like I knew what path I was on. “ Caggie compares the experience to a child in a supermarket being denied sweets by their parent - the more the parent says “no, they’re bad for you”, the more the child wants them.

“That’s what we’re like with things that we want - whether it’s a toxic relationship or friendship that we don’t want to leave - we get some kind of high”, she says, urging us not to resist this essential period of growth and trust the process. “If we actually accept that things aren’t good for us and stop resisting the change, things flow a lot more easily”, she adds. “You have to trust things you can’t control.” While the prospect sounds daunting on the surface, according to Caggie, it’s the perfect time to get in tune with your body, and more importantly, your new mindset, as everything begins to align as it was intended. To guide you to the right path, she recommends turning to somatic practices such as breathwork and meditation to ground yourself in moments of chaos. What’s more, remember that this
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR SATURN RETURN Your Saturn return is completely personalised to you, and takes into account factors such as your date, time, and location of birth. We’d recommend using a specialised online calculator - some great options include Astro Seek and Almost 30. It’s time to get excited about what’s ahead. COASTAL CHARM
B
REEZY, elegant, and effortlessly refined, Coastal Charm captures the timeless serenity of seaside escapes. This look blends crisp whites, soft neutrals, and deep cobalt blues with natural textures, creating a space that feels tranquil and utterly inviting. “In the dining room, a blue and white mural wall becomes the room’s centrepiece, evoking the movement of waves and the open sky”, says Shelley Cochrane, Accessories Buyer at Furniture Village. “Whitewashed walls reflect natural light, creating an airy feeling that instantly transports you to the coast. A bold blue sofa anchors the space with confident colour, while a patterned armchair adds a standout, statement touch.” She adds: “Choose accessories that nod to nautical influences, from woven lamp bases and tactile rugs to natural, wooden furniture. Coastal Charm transforms your home into a place where every day feels like a holiday.” Beyond aesthetics, this style taps into the psychology of coastal design. It evokes carefree holiday memories, the sun-drenched charm of Mediterranean islands, and the soothing rhythm of ocean waves, all from the comfort of your own home. “Coastal Charm is more than décor; it’s a lifestyle. It’s soft, serene, and sophisticated, a home where the rhythm of the sea meets effortless comfort. Every day here feels like a seaside retreat, where luxury is relaxed, and beauty is effortless.”

NATURE’S ZEN
A
calming blend of Japanese and Scandinavian influences, Nature’s Zen creates a sanctuary of stillness and simplicity. This look is defined by balance, where clean lines meet organic forms, and quiet luxury emerges from restraint. According to Shelley; “The palette is soft, paredback and natural - think muted stone, chalky neutrals, and gentle green undertones. “Limewashed walls, light and dark woods, and fluted wooden panels reflect natural light beautifully, while exposed wood beams introduce structural warmth and visual rhythm.” She continues: “Sculptural shapes and thoughtful details lend an understated artistic sensibility to the space. “Choose pieces that embody harmony: a light oak dining set ready for shared meals, a white marble coffee table that invites slow mornings, and a wooden bookcase with simple, crafted lines to showcase your most-loved objects. “A faux fur accent chair becomes a soft reading nook, perfect for unwinding with a cup of tea. Layered natural materials such as linen, oak, and stone add depth without clutter, while greenery grounds the space and boosts your mood with a quiet connection to the outdoors. “This style celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the elegance of emptiness. Fluted wood walls and exposed beams frame moments of calm throughout the home, creating a place that feels lived in, thoughtful, and truly zen.”

SORBET SHADES
V
IBRANT, playful, and full of life, Sorbet Shades is the maximalist moment of the season. Drawing inspiration from bold colour and contemporary art whilst celebrating happy holiday memories, this trend is a joyful celebration of creativity and confidence. “Shades of pink and blue are paired with pops of butter yellow and soft mint, creating a palette that’s as expressive as it is energising,” says Shelley. “The mood is optimistic and daring, a spirited take on modern design that encourages personality to shine through.” She adds: “Furniture and accessories take on sculptural, graphic shapes that feel dynamic and fresh. Mix glossy finishes with soft upholstery or juxtapose stripes and abstract patterns for a look that’s playful yet curated. “This trend invites you to embrace individuality: layer textures, combine bold prints, and experiment with colour clashes that spark joy. Sorbet Shades is not just about decorating; it’s about expressing who you are. The result? A home that radiates happiness, creativity, and charm in every corner.”

OMANTIC, characterful, and whimsically nostalgic, English Escape captures the essence of the countryside with a confident and contemporary twist. Rooted in heritage style yet refreshed for today, this look embraces vibrant colour, expressive pattern, and a decidedly eclectic spirit. “Patterned wallpapers and botanical prints bring walls to life, while verdant greens, rosy tones, and joyful stripes create a richer, more playful palette,” Shelley tells us. “Traditional furniture is reimagined in modern proportions, giving familiar shapes fresh relevance. Bookshelves styled with treasured finds and well-thumbed reads introduce personality and a sense of lived-in comfort. “A bold patterned armchair or a richly upholstered bed becomes an inviting focal point, surrounded by natural wood, touches of brass, and tactile finishes like linen, velvet and quilting. Contrast glossy accents with heritage motifs and mix florals with checks for a charming clash that feels authentically English. “Every space feels curated over time, full of character and quiet confidence. Layer rugs, hang art salon-style, and let decorative details shine. English Escape turns home into a place where comfort, nostalgia, and subtle luxury meet, creating rooms that tell stories and celebrate the joy of everyday living.”

The Magpie Effect
“Layering is still very much in, but it’s evolving - Less dainty stacks, more ‘I know exactly what I’m doing’ magpie-style mixing. Think sculptural chains with sleek pieces, chokers making a very triumphant 90s comeback, ear cuffs popping up everywhere, and toe rings suddenly feeling chic again.”
5 JEWELLERY TRENDS TO KNOW IN 2026 It’s the year of layering, diamonds, and all things silver, according to FARFETCH Jewellery Expert, Judit Kovacs
1
The Silver Shift
“Silver is quietly reclaiming the spotlight - Fresh, modern, and works beautifully with crisp shirting and minimal tailoring. Gold, of course, is still going strong; it’s the extrovert of metals. But honestly, the coolest way to wear jewellery now is mixing metals. “Who says your earrings have to match your necklace? It’s liberating, inventive, and allows you to play with pieces you already love.”

Summer Diamonds
“Summer styling is all about personality: playful, unexpected, and a little undone; the kind of pieces that feel effortless, even if you’re not actually by a pool. There’s also this lovely rise of what I’d call ‘summer diamonds’ - classic, sparkly pieces worn in completely un-classic ways. Think drop earrings with a bikini, eternity bands on thumbs, and a delicate choker over a white tank.”
Choker, Miu Miu at FARFETCH, £590
Supersized Statements
4
“Supersized jewellery is booming because bold pieces instantly make even the simplest outfit feel intentional. Think earrings you can see from across the room, necklaces with a serious presence.” “The key is balance: let one statement piece lead. If your earrings are massive, keep the neckline minimal; if you’re rocking a chunky choker, everything else should step back. Wear them layered over tanks, tees, or off-shoulder tops. It’s playful, confident, and entirely summerappropriate.”
Stones that Stand Out Ring, APM Monaco, £85
“Colour is stepping back into the spotlight. Think vibrant sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and semi-precious stones that add personality and playfulness to everyday jewellery. These pieces are designed to be mixed, layered, and worn effortlessly from day, to night. It’s a move away from overly polished styling and towards jewellery that feels expressive.”

FOREST
TIIMO
ENDEL
The average daily screen time of adults aged 16 to 64 is 6 hours and 58 minutes, which soon adds up - and frankly, can look a bit scary on paper. While some apps convince you to spend more time online, Forest is encouraging you to do the complete opposite, and get off your phone. Whenever you want to stay focused, plant a virtual tree - the longer you stay offline, the bigger your tree will grow, and contribute to an inapp ‘forest’. What’s more, Forest partners with a real-tree-planting organisation, Trees for the Future, to plant real trees on Earth, powered by your in-app forest. Spending your time smarter and helping the planet? Count us in.
Named Apple’s App of the Year for 2026, Tiimo is helping the neurodivergent community stay organised with its AI-powered visual planner. By inputting to-do lists, your daily tasks and reminders will be organised into timeslots for you, making it easier to know what to do, and when, creating a clear and most importantly, realistic schedule. Who knew life admin could actually be fun?
With over four million downloads, Endel is going one step beyond the soothing focus and sleep soundscapes so many of us rely on to unwind; it’s getting personal. The app syncs with your Health app to create soundscapes that adapt in real-time, reacting to inputs such as time of day, weather, heart rate, and location. The result? A x7 increase in focus, and x3.6 decrease in stress with regular use.
PLANTPARENT

Its in-app integrations can even help boost your credit score through simple tasks, such as paying your rent or bills on time - and you’ll be able to pay your friends in an instant.

Spoiler alert: It turns out not every plant is the same. PlantParent is helping us care for our leafy friends properly with complete plant care guides, watering reminders, disease diagnosis, and even an alert when they’re not getting the light they need. THE NEW CLASSICS
Audrey Camisole, Parasol Rose, £156
Luxury Stylist, Oriona Robb, shares her top picks for the items to invest in now, and love forever…
LOEWE PUZZLE BAG
Small Classic Flap, Chanel, £8,510
THE CHANEL CHANEL THE CLASSIC FLAP CLASSIC FLAP BAG BAG Originally designed by Coco Chanel to free women’s hands, the Classic Flap remains one of the most recognisable bags in fashion. Its appeal lies in balance - structured, yet soft, elegant, but practical. The chain strap and quilted leather were revolutionary at the time and still feel relevant today. It represents a rare combination of heritage, craftsmanship, and everyday wearability, which is why it continues to feel modern decades later.
62
BLUSH | S P R I N G 2 0 2 6
While different to Chanel in aesthetic, the Puzzle has become a modern classic in its own right. Its architectural construction and distinctive silhouette set it apart, yet it remains versatile and wearable. Loewe is known for exceptional leatherwork under Jonathan Anderson, and the Puzzle wears beautifully over time. It’s a strong choice for someone who wants a long-lasting, covetable bag that feels contemporary but also holds its value in the wardrobe.
THE SILK CAMISOLE
The silk camisole is one of those pieces that quietly underpins a great wardrobe. Popularised in the 1990s as part of a more relaxed, sensual approach to dressing, it has never really left. Its longevity comes from its versatility. It can be worn as a base layer under tailoring, styled simply with denim, or elevated with evening pieces. A well-cut silk camisole feels timeless because it adapts to the wearer and the moment, offering ease, femininity and understated elegance Puzzle bag, without trying too hard. Loewe, £2,000 Personally, my absolute favourite is from Parasol Rose. Their silk camisoles are made from 100% silk with a subtle stretch, often finished with delicate lace - which gives them softness without fragility. They feel beautiful on the skin and work just as well hidden under a blazer as they do styled on their own. For a more minimalist, fashion-led approach, Olivia Von Halle offers clean, refined silk pieces that feel modern and intentional, perfect for those who prefer a sharper aesthetic.

modern alternatives are also emerging. I have seen an excellent version from COS, which focuses on clean lines, thoughtful proportions and quality fabrication. It proves that a timeless silhouette does not have to come with a luxury price tag to feel considered and enduring.
BLACK LEATHER BALLET FLATS
Cami top, John Lewis, £39
SIMPLE, GOLD JEWELLERY A pair of gold hoops, a fine chain necklace or a delicate bracelet never feels dated. These pieces work because they’re not trend-led. They sit close to the skin and become part of someone’s daily uniform. Their appeal is subtle confidence rather than statement dressing, which is why they remain relevant regardless of fashion cycles. For an investment, Tiffany & Co.’s gold jewellery - particularly pieces like the Lock earrings - carry both emotional and design longevity. Crafted with precision and rooted in a strong design language, these are items that feel considered and enduring rather than seasonal. They are often

worn daily and kept for years, which is what gives them lasting value. For a more accessible option, Missoma offers well-made gold vermeil pieces that echo the same simplicity and ease. They are ideal for building a jewellery wardrobe with pieces that layer beautifully and feel modern, without losing their relevance over time.
THE TRENCH COAT The trench coat began as functional outerwear in the late 1800s and has evolved into a symbol of understated style. Its longevity comes from versatility. It works across all ages, genders, and lifestyles, and adapts effortlessly to different wardrobes. Whether worn over tailoring or denim, it adds quiet authority and polish without ever feeling forced. Burberry remains the benchmark when it Trench Coat, comes to heritage and COS, £225 craftsmanship, with a history that is deeply rooted in the trench itself. That said, beautifully cut
Ballet flats have moved in and out of trend headlines, but they never truly disappear. Their strength lies in simplicity and comfort, offering elegance without effort. Whether paired with tailoring, dresses, or denim, they ground an outfit and feel appropriate in almost any setting. They reflect the ongoing shift towards clothes that support real lives, not just aesthetics.
Ballet flats, ARRANGE at ASOS, £51
Stella Slipper, The Row, £1,020 The Row’s leather ballet flats are a strong investment for those drawn to refined, understated dressing. PUT YOUR BEST WRIST FORWARD

N a world where fast fashion dominates, the opportunity to invest in quality craftsmanship and lifetime appeal makes those milestone investment purchases a little more special. For some, it may be a handbag or a car; for others, a watch. Most importantly, it’s a piece that evokes emotion and a memory traced back to key points in your life. The luxury watch market has exploded, and is expected to be valued at over $100 billion by 2030 - not least thanks to the appeal of heritage brands becoming collectors’ items over accessories, and rare or highly-sought-after timepieces becoming a status indicator. Just by glancing down at someone’s wrist, you can get a peek into their world, their personality, and their taste. From winding watches to smartwatches, lack of choice is certainly no issue in this day and age - but despite that - a handful of brands have managed to consistently dominate the market, holding, or sometimes even surpassing, their retail value. Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet (which dates back to 1875) stand firm alongside rising stars such as Omega and Tudor (owned by Rolex and considered to be a more affordable alternative). Sure, some styles within the biggest collections of these brands will rise and fall in value with trends, but it’s undeniable that what makes a real classic

is its ability to bounce back and prove its longevity among the noise. For reference, the most expensive watch resold at auction was a Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, which fetched a cool $31.19 million in 2019. It’s by no means their most sought-after design (with the Nautilus proving to be the modern consumers’ choice), but it’s cemented itself as a piece of design history.
“AN ICONIC DESIGN ENDURES CHANGES IN FASHION BECAUSE ITS FORM, FUNCTION, AND CULTURAL STORY RESONATE ACROSS GENERATIONS” “We will see trends shift from large, bold watches to a return of the more classic and timeless style”, predicts CEO of Posh Pawn and Luxury Expert, James Constantinou, of what’s to come. That means we’ll be looking at smaller bezel sizes, bi-metal straps (compared to just gold), and pieces that can be worn every day, not just on special occasions. “A trend is often seasonal, using bold colours or oversized bezel shapes that are briefly in style, usually shaped by pop culture. But, an iconic design endures changes in fashion because

its form, function, and cultural story resonate across generations”, James adds, citing Cartier and Rolex alongside Patek Philippe, all of which have shaped the luxury watch market and become staples for any serious collector. “People such as Princess Diana, Meghan Markle, and Victoria Beckham have worn classic models such as

But James’ biggest (and perhaps most important) piece of advice for choosing your next accessory? “Look for something that will suit your everyday needs - not just something to be worn on special occasions.” Let the window shopping commence.
3 WATCHES WITH ULTIMATE TIMELESS APPEAL, ACCORDING TO THE EXPERTS: the Cartier Tank and Rolex Datejust, cementing them in fashion history”, he notes. “Beyond telling time, watches silently communicate professionalism, success, and taste in settings where subtlety matters.” But, with prestige often comes price and seeing a watch as an investment can prove lucrative if you choose wisely - but there’s never any guarantee you’ll see huge returns. Price can vary by demands for models, as well as the value of materials such as gold or silver at the time. What’s more, brands like Rolex are known for their guarded sales practices, with potential buyers often sitting on years-long waiting lists just to buy one of their watches - only making them more in-demand. “Some watches do hold or grow in value, especially rare or discontinued models from brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet”, James says. “Secondary market demand can exceed retail price on certain brands, and some discontinued models have had resale premiums of 200%+”, he adds, with the recently-axed Rolex Falcon’s Eye Yacht-Master 42 currently averaging over £32,000 on the pre-loved market. So, what should you know before leaping into buying a piece that you’ll hopefully love forever? “If you’re looking to purchase a second-hand watch, the most important thing is authenticity”, James affirms. “Make sure you’re purchasing from reputable dealers who are passionate

Aubergines, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and onions are stewed slowly in plenty of olive oil. This Sicilian-inspired vegetable dish captures summer in a pan, with fragrant herbs adding freshness. This dish is simply delicious served with grilled, crusty bread as a light lunch.
INGR EDIENTS
- 3 aubergines, cut into large chunks - 4 tbsp olive oil - 1 large onion, finely chopped - 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed - 3 ripe beef tomatoes cut into chunks (or 6 medium sized tomatoes) - 1 tbsp tomato puree (optional) - 1 red pepper, de-seeded and cut into chunks - 1 tbsp capers, rinsed and drained - Handful of black olives - 1-2 tsp sugar - 2 tbsp red wine vinegar - Seasalt - Handful of chopped fresh herbs e.g. basil, oregano, flat leaf parsley - 1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted

Add the sugar and vinegar and cook for a further 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and stir gently. Sprinkle with herbs and pine nuts and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

STRENGTH MODE: ACTIVATED Rebecca Dadoun, Pilates Instructor and Founder of Pilates Prescription shares the moves to incorporate into your Pilates routine for a stronger, more connected core this year
P
ILATES is perfect as a core strength exercise because it teaches us to stabilise parts of the body whilst mobilising others and harnessing the breath. The core can be thought of as a cylinder - in any given routine, you should expect to engage the abdominal muscles, back muscles, diaphragm and pelvic floor for a well-rounded workout.
WHY: While not quite a beginner move, this motion is teaching you to keep the pelvis aligned whilst challenging your balance.
2. TOE TAPS
3. BRIDGE TAPS
FORM: Begin lying on your back with your feet hip-width apart, knees bent, and arms by your side. Slowly peel the spine up bone by bone into a bridge. Breathe in as you take one heel away and tap, then exhale to bring the leg in. Repeat on the other side. WHY: This move is challenging your pelvic stability and glute strength as you take the legs in and out. You are aiming to maintain balance by engaging the back of the body.
4. PILATES SCOOP
1. SIDE LEANS
FORM: Start by high-kneeling and bring your left foot out to one side. Take both arms and interlace your hands behind your head. Think about being as tall as you can from the crown of the head. Breathe in to prepare, and as you exhale, think about flexing the spine away from your extended leg, keeping your pelvis facing forward. Inhale to return. Keep grounding down through the extended leg.
blushmagazine.org.uk
FORM: Start by lying down on your back, with your knees bent and arms down by your side. Try to keep your pelvis neutral. Float your legs up into tabletop position. Inhale to prepare, and exhale while hinging from the hip, lowering one foot down towards the floor without arching your lower back. Inhale to return the leg to tabletop. Repeat on the other side. WHY: This is one of my favourites for beginners. It teaches them neutral pelvis and how to maintain it, adding in a load (the leg) and working the lower abdominals.
FORM: Find a four-point kneeling position with your hands underneath your shoulders, and knees beneath hips. Inhale as you reach the opposite arm and leg away from each other. On your exhale, round the spine into a cat/c-curve shape, and draw your knee into your elbow. Inhale to lengthen out again. WHY: This combines two great beginner moves: the cat and tabletop. It challenges your core muscles, shoulder stability and helps build spinal mobility, along with glute strength and shoulder mobility. A really nice full-body integration.

the mainstream as a result, widelyconsidered to be a more strategic, tailored approach to choosing your supplements wisely. bang for our buck. Aside from tugging on our purse strings, by taking more supplements than we need, we could even be introducing unnecessary side effects into our lives that we didn’t realise were a result of us well - trying to be healthier. The ‘supplement stacking’ movement has now made its way into
“LIKE MOST THINGS HEALTHRELATED, THERE IS NO ONESIZE-FITS-ALL APPROACH WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPLEMENTS” “As a women’s health nutritional therapist, time and time again, I have women coming into my clinic who are taking several random supplements, which can be a waste of money, not really addressing the underlying problem, and they end up taking so many different things that they’re rattling”, says Richa Puri, an independent Prescribing Pharmacist and registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in women’s health through the life stages. “Like most things health-related, there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to supplements. Supplements should be considered based on individual nutritional needs, symptoms, and health history. Taking multiple ‘trending’ vitamins without a clear goal is unlikely to deliver meaningful results.” She adds, “Supplement stacking delivers a more strategic approach. When nutrients are combined intentionally, they enhance absorption and bioavailability. Instead of targeting one symptom in isolation, stacking supports the underlying biological pathways driving that concern.”

THE ULTIMATE LUXURY? LONGEVITY The wellness industry is slowly moving away from diet culture and appearance in favour of living longer - these worldleading resorts are giving us a head-start
I
F there’s one thing we’ve learnt, it’s that the most valuable investment you can make is in yourself and, more importantly, your health. In recent years, we’ve become far more honest about just how damaging modern life can be, both mentally and physically. We feel more disconnected than ever, ultra-processed foods have our diets in a chokehold, and for too long, our understanding of health has been filtered through how we look, rather than how we function. But the tide is turning. The pursuit of peak performance no longer begins and ends with a six-pack. Instead, the focus has shifted inward: gut health, hormone balance and a regulated nervous system. It’s why terms like “longevity” and “biohacking” are everywhere right now - and at their core, they’re simply about
living better for longer. Of course, some of biohacking’s more extreme expressions have raised eyebrows, but longevity isn’t about spinning your blood or booking routine CT scans. It’s about adopting positive, sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing and actually make you feel good inside-out. Enter the wellness tourism boom. The industry is projected to reach $1.35 trillion by 2028, with medical and holistic retreats emerging worldwide as a sojourn-meets-body reset. These destinations pair restorative landscapes with access to doctors, diagnostics and specialist therapies - all designed to help you return home feeling better than when you left. Thinking of taking a holiday in the name of health? Here are Blush’s top destinations to have on your radar.

1 MAYRLIFE, ALTAUSSEE, AUSTRIA Set on the shores of the picturesque Lake Altaussee and rooted in what’s been dubbed the ‘Mayr Cure’ (a philosophy developed in the 20th century around how gut health forecasts our overall wellbeing), Mayrlife has been credited as transformative by a number of its returning celebrity guests, including Rebel Wilson, Kendall Jenner, and Karlie Kloss. Having welcomed over 20,000 guests since opening the resort’s doors in 2015, Mayrlife pairs diagnostic testing and medical expertise with cutting-edge treatments, offering 100% personalised nutritional plans - both during your stay, and once you leave. Typically, guests follow an alkaline-only diet and are expected to adopt guidelines that promote gut health and detoxing during their stay: Chew each mouthful of food 40-60 times, reset your body with prescribed Epsom salt cocktails, and keep phones away from the dinner table to ensure maximum focus on the food in front of you. You’ll fill the rest of your time with the likes of cryotherapy, cold plunges in the lake, liver detox wraps, and electrolysis foot baths. The most essential rule? Make time for rest and slow living. Couples who optimise their health together, stay together…or something like that, right? What sets SHA apart from other wellness clinics is that they promote togetherness as one of the best ways to achieve your goals - whether that’s weight-related, supercharging stress reduction, or just being able to switch off. In addition to consultations with leading health experts, their slightly-more-relaxed program allows you to enjoy their hydrotherapy circuit and state-of-the-art wellness facilities, as well as in-house spa treatments during your stay. 70% of guests sustain healthy lifestyle habits three months after leaving SHA and experience a 30% reduction in key inflammation markers. Perfect for people with a specific goal in mind who also crave a less-clinical setting.
“IF THERE’S ONE THING WE’VE LEARNT, IT’S THAT THE MOST VALUABLE INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE IS IN YOURSELF”
Voted World’s Best Medical Spa, Lanserhof is somewhere between a medical retreat and a plush spa holiday, located on 21,000 square meters of the Bavarian Alps; a setting that rivals most five-star hotels. Its programmes are as comprehensive as they are personalised; spanning brain health, longevity, and energy optimisation, with tailored stays even designed to support recovery from Long Covid. Much like Mayrlife, caffeine, alcohol, and sugar are strictly off the menu - and chewing rituals will again become mainstay among your newly-adopted habits (although slightly more lenient at 35, compared to Mayrlife’s 40-60). Most stays last around two weeks to unlock the full detoxifying benefits, during which guests rotate through lymphatic drainage, reflexology, and in-depth health consultations, all designed to deliver measurable, lasting results.
