WELLBEING WEEK

Towards the end of this term, Student Services ran a wellbeing week focussing on demonstrating practical strategies of self-care and healthy behaviours to our students. The week included: physical fitness, nutritious food, manicure pampering, aromatherapy, good sleep and hygiene practices, mindfulness craft and positive mindset strategies. It was a fun and interactive few days for our students and staff. On Wednesday, the College invited around 15 different organisations, who provide support and services for our young people, to join in the celebrations on campus. There was a real buzz around the College and students played live music in the courtyard to set the atmosphere. The Student Services team appreciates all the help that was given by the Hospitality and Music staff and students, the Health Committee, and the Student Guild, for helping run such a successful event. This is the second year that Sevenoaks has run a wellbeing week and we look forward to making it a consistent part of our annual College calendar.

MORE THAN A WORD. RECONCILIATION TAKES ACTION
This term as part of reconciliation week, a select group of our Clontarf boys danced for Clontarf major partner, Wesfarmers. The boys performed three dances, Spirt, Weitj (emu) and Nyumbi (celebration). The performance was in front of 50 onlookers and 200 people on live stream in Victoria, NSW & Queensland. Congratulations boys, your performance was fantastic and you have made the College very proud. click here
