From the moment children arrive at The Seven Hills School, they embark on an educational journey that nurtures curiosity and values joyful exploration. A deeply rooted commitment to educating the whole child—developing
the mind and heart—means that every Seven Hills student learns how to make meaningful connections within themselves, to each other, and to their world. Our idyllic nine-acre campus, with inspiring indoor and outdoor learning spaces, gives our students a learning experience that goes beyond the classroom, and as the demand for a Seven Hills education continues to grow, our campus must evolve. Building on the accomplishments of the stakeholders before us, we are embarking on the next chapter of the Seven Hills story to modernize our campus to meet the needs of today’s students and the next generation of learners. With our strategic plan Whole Child, Whole Community, and strategic campus planning to guide our thinking, Seven Hills turned its sights on the Lower School campus by transforming Big Red into a new hub for learning and discovery while continuing our commitment to growing our endowment. This bold fundraising initiative will best align our learning spaces with our mission by creating a modern, versatile learning village that will become the center of the Lower School, matching the caliber and functionality of other buildings on campus. From bright, open classrooms that enable collaboration to outdoor learning spaces to encourage hands-on exploration, we are more focused than ever on meeting the needs of children and realizing a bold vision for their future. This ambitious campaign will bring us together to create an even stronger learning community for today and build the Seven Hills of tomorrow.

60TH ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN
CREATE A NEW HUB FOR LEARNING AND DISCOVERY An original set of modular classrooms constructed nearly 50 years ago, Big Red has become a true fixer-upper, having served generations of Lower School students. Now at the end of its useful life and identified as one of the most pressing needs on campus, Big Red is in need of significant repair and investment in order to meet the demands of today’s learners and our whole-child approach to education. This AMBITIOUS CAMPAIGN aims to reconstruct Big Red into a hub of learning and discovery. This new home for multiple grades will align the building with the interdisciplinary program we offer today. Our cornerstone project, this center for innovation, collaboration, and inquiry will: • Create OPEN, FLEXIBLE CLASSROOMS for hands-on projects, workshop model lessons, and differentiated learning experiences, giving Lower School students a new SENSE OF IDENTITY AND INTEGRATION on the upper campus, where our whole-child curriculum can shine. • Include a K-5 IMAGINATION LAB, a vibrant hub for innovation, collaboration, and inquiry that integrates the arts and sciences and enables meaningful discoveries, creative thinking, and artistic endeavors for all Lower School students. • Provide STUDENT SUPPORT SPACES for our learning specialists to work with students individually or in small groups through a student-centered approach that supports their unique academic, social, and emotional needs for building resilience, confidence, and connection. • Foster a learning environment that connects the indoors with our beautiful natural OUTDOOR LEARNING SPACES using SUSTAINABLE DESIGN practices that emphasize indoor air quality, natural light, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
