SEVC Workshops 2020 Each year, the SEVC provides hands-on laboratories with leading international instructors and the latest technology and equipment to help you enhance your practice skills. The SEVC’s workshops are another unique feature that enable delegates to gain hands-on laboratory experience and learn new techniques by working in small groups with world-class instructors using the latest equipment on the market. The workshops are presented in English, but instructors provide assistance with other languages.

• Optical microscopy in haematology: basic concepts for a correct diagnosis • Optical microscopy in cytology: basic concepts for a correct diagnosis • Ultrasound interpretation of abdominal pathologies. Initial level • Ultrasound interpretation of abdominal pathologies. Intermediate level • Radiological diagnosis of thoracic and abdominal emergencies • Musculoskeletal ultrasound for the traumatologist: practice in dogs and review of clinical cases • How to know which psychotropic drug is the best for each patient !!! Advanced level

The SEVC workshops and laboratories adhere strictly to the ethical oversight directions and approval under Spanish regulations in their use of live animals. The number of animals used is always minimal. Every effort is made to avoid situations and procedures that would cause anxiety and pain in the animals, and appropriate sedation and analgesia are used whenever necessary. No animal will be euthanised to meet the needs of any SEVC workshop.
