Your Personalized Financial Aid Award

Making college affordable

You Made It!

Congratulations on your acceptance to SEU! We’ve reviewed your information and used it to estimate the awards that can be applied toward your total attendance costs. We’re dedicated to making college affordable for you, so let’s get started!

Your Award is Here!

We’ve personalized the enclosed letter just for you. The numbers you see are based on the information we received when you applied to SEU and when you submitted your FAFSA. Here are a few things to keep in mind.

n Your letter includes all funds for which you’re eligible. (Additional third-party scholarships that you have applied for may not be reflected, but can also be used.)

n You have the option to accept or decline certain awards (such as student loans).

n Some types of financial aid can be applied to certain approved, indirect costs of attending college (see below for details).

n In the summer of 2023, you can expect to see a preliminary bill for the fall 2023 semester. This bill will reflect your anticipated balance after your financial aid awards have been applied. (See the opposite panel for options for covering that balance.)

How to Estimate Your Total Out-of-Pocket Costs

Add your Billed/Direct costs and projected Indirect Costs, and then deduct the awarded aid you’re accepting. Or, scan the QR code to use our handy cost calculator.

Note: Scholarships and grants do not need to be repaid; loans do. If your personalized award includes a Southeastern grant or other need-based aid, some or all of the dollar amount may be adjusted at a later date if you receive additional federal, state, or institutional grant aid.

These costs are projected and subject to change. This cost model assumes full-time enrollment and standard meal plan and room selection. Some classes and majors will incur additional fees.
