Metro Hope Ministries is a Christ-centered, residential recovery program for mothers with children, women, and men who are struggling with addiction and behavioral issues that are destroying their lives. This is where addiction ends and families are restored by the power of Jesus Christ. Metro Hope’s Healing House is a unique program where a mother does not have to choose between her children and help for her addiction; she brings her children with her where they live, heal and grow together. Since 1926 our Minneapolis programs have focused on providing real help and lasting hope for the whole family. Our men’s and women’s programs include: • Long-term residential recovery and basic needs • Christ-centered curriculum • Onsite therapies including trauma (EMDR), family and play therapy for children • Life skills training • Aftercare resources and support Metro Hope relies on the prayer and financial support of our donor family. We want everyone to not only choose to share their time, talents, and treasures, but also automatically reach out to help people in need when they see it. We gather and publish volunteer, event, and other opportunities for dozens of non-profits all across Minnesota so that whatever your interest is, we have a way for you to get involved. 13

It feels nearly impossible to steady ourselves after experiencing a pandemic, social unrest, contentious elections, natural disasters, and economic crises. We don’t stay joyful and hopeful in the midst of overwhelming circumstances. Instead, we get exhausted trying to control them. We just want to stop, rest, and catch our breath. What if that’s exactly what God wants us to do, too? We can recover hope and joy when we learn to stand still and WITNESS WHO IS WITH US. With is a tiny word, but it packs the power to bring us the peace we long for.
