duraÇÃo duration: 50 min classificaÇÃo indicatiVa: liVre Parental rating: all ages Em Hot 100 – The Hot One Hundred Choreographers cristian Duarte vivencia corporalmente os cem coreógrafos que influenciaram sua história na dança: da alemã pina bausch à cantora e dançarina norteamericana beyoncé, do bailarino mikhail baryshnikov à criadora brasileira marta soares.

o espetáculo se inspirou em The Hot One Hundred, painel colorido criado pelo artista escocês peter Davies, elencando artistas e obras fundamentais para ele. como procedimento de criação, cristian fez seu próprio ranking. “Devorou” vários ícones da dança. Em cena, ele negocia com seu corpo em movimento a fim de compor com as tendências que influenciaram sua formação. o público é levado a jogar junto, lançando mão de seu próprio repertório.

Guiado pelo pensamento de umberto Eco no livro Vertigem das Listas, o solo põe em cena a lista de cristian Duarte, em que os itens aparecem de forma fragmentada e vertiginosa, ganhando congruência no corpo do performer. o espetáculo recebeu prêmio de melhor criação em dança pela associação paulista dos críticos de arte (apca), em 2011.

in Hot 100 - The Hot One Hundred Choreographers christian Duarte embodies the 100 choreographers who have influenced his work as a dancer: from the German choreographer, pina bausch, to the North american singer and dancer, beyoncé - from the ballet dancer, mikhail baryshnikov, to the brazilian artist, marta soares.

the show was inspired by the Hot One Hundred, a colorful piece created by scottish artist peter Davies, listing artists and works which were essential to his development. as part of his creative process, christian prepared his own ranking. He “devoured” several dance icons. on stage, his bodily motions incorporate the work which has influenced his development. and the audience is taken along for the ride, giving up on their own repertoire.

Guided by umberto Eco’s perspective in the book, The Infinity of Lists, this solo piece places christian Duarte’s own list on stage, in which list items appear in a fragmented and offsetting manner, achieving congruence in the performer’s body. the show received the best Dance piece award from the são paulo association of art critics (apca) in 2011.
