The novelties for 2013 proposed by Italesse will be complementary to some product lines where design and emotion are evenly blended, giving rise to original and contemporary collections. Wine or aperitif glasses featuring seductive colours and distinctive details are added to the revamped sets of water glasses with new dimensions or with innovative shapes, which are well-suited for a variety of uses. The products have been presented thanks to the renewed collaborations with designers Claesson Koivisto Rune and Luca Trazzi who have been capable of interpreting the current creative mood in the contemporary tableware market. 2013 will mark the year of the collaboration with the Japanese artist, Nendo; a star in international design that defined the new Italesse tableware creations to emerge in environments such as the office as well as at home. Design and emotion are blended evenly in the new 2013 collections by Italesse, created to complete some of the company’s most successful collections or to launch new cutting-edge product concepts.

Le novità 2013 di Italesse sono funzionali al completamento di alcune linee prodotto dove design ed emozionalità si fondono in maniera omogenea per formare delle collezioni originali e contemporanee. Calici da vino o da aperitivo dalle colorazioni seducenti e dal carattere distintivo si affiancano a bicchieri da acqua di nuove dimensioni o con forme innovative, completamente riviste, che ben si prestano ad usi trasversali. Prodotti presentati grazie alle rinnovate collaborazioni con i designer Claesson Koivisto Rune e Luca Trazzi che hanno saputo ben interpretare il mood creativo in atto nel mercato del tableware contemporaneo. È del 2013 invece, la collaborazione con l’artista giapponese Nendo, una star del design internazionale che ha definito le nuove proposte per la tavola Italesse, da accostare in un ambiente professionale come a casa. Design ed emozionalità si fondono in maniera omogenea nelle novità 2013 di Italesse, nate per completare alcune delle collezioni più di successo dell’azienda o lanciare nuovi concept prodotto all’avanguardia.

Un nuovo prodotto che inaugura una nuova importante collaborazione con un designer tanto fecondo quanto raffinato – il giapponese NENDO – che ha interpretato alla perfezione lo stile Italesse. Briffato con una richiesta molto semplice – dare forma ad un set di ciotoline per aperitivo che si potesse facilmente accostare ad altre proposte della collezione del brand di glassware e tableware matchando i dettami dei mercati professionali quanto di quello retail – lo studio giapponese ha risposto con grande entusiasmo e professionalità inviando, assieme ai primi rendering progettuali, dei prototipi perfettamente realizzati capaci di tradurre concretamente il concept del designer e catturare immediatamente l’interesse dell’azienda. Ispirate alla forma imperfetta e levigata dei sassolini – da qui il nome: pebble, che in inglese significa infatti sasso – le ciotole ideate da Nendo sono realizzate in melammina lucida per integrare la praticità dell’utilizzo alla fedeltà del concept ispiratore.

en A new product that inaugurates a new important collaboration with a Japanese designer, who is as much prolific as refined, NENDO, who has interpreted the Italesse style to perfection. One simple request: create a set of little aperitif bowls that can be easily matched to the other items of the brand collection of glassware and tableware, meeting professional and retail market dictates. The Japanese firm responded with great enthusiasm and professionalism by sending, together with the renderings, prototypes, which have perfectly expressed the designer’s concept and captured the company’s interest. Inspired by the imperfect and smooth form of pebbles – hence the name, Pebble – the bowls designed by Nendo are made with glossy melamine to complement the inspiring concept with practicality.

Equipped with a rechargeable light to be introduced in the bottom of the base, Tonic Ice gives light to the bottles contained in it and to the environment that surrounds it, becoming a useful yet strongly recognisable object.
