maintaining “The Hairy Trangle!” 1. Let hair grow out. A big mistake many women make before their first waxing session: Shaving! Wax can’t pick up your hairs when they’re too short: they should be at least a quarter of an inch long for your waxing session.. For this reason, avoid shaving between waxes. 2. Don’t schedule around that time of the month. Your skin may be extra sensitive. 3. Take a shower and exfoliate beforehand. This may seem obvious, but it’s worth a reminder. You’ll feel less self-conscious if you suds up at least 24 hours before your bikini waxing session. Even better, taking a warm shower (or bath!) right beforehand softens your pores, making the actual process less painful. 4. Know what type of bikini wax shape you want. There is more than one way to skin a cat when it comes to bikini waxing and salons may offer a menu of choices. 5. Plan your outfit (and day) accordingly. Post-wax, your skin is often red and irritated. Wear loose clothing to your appointment so you’ll be comfy afterwards. For the rest of the day, you should steer clear of applying too much friction from tight-fitting clothing or exercise.

6. Get comfortable with the exposure level. Before your wax, you will have to strip off your pants and underwear. Some places offer disposable underwear for simple bikini waxes, but if you are having more hair removed than just on the sides, you will likely be completely naked below the waist. 7. Brace for the potential pain factor. So is a bikini wax painful? There are numerous treatments out there that claim to be “virtually painless” or “totally pain-free.” 8. Know that any hairs left behind may be tweezed. Oftentimes, there are bikini hairs leftover from the wax that are removed using precise tweezers. Your waxer may ask you if you want them tweezed, or she may just start plucking without letting you know first. 9. Plan post-wax pain management. The fastest way to soothe post-waxing irritation is to apply an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream 10. Think about trying DIY waxing. Once you’re familiar with bikini waxing, you may want to consider using an at-home bikini wax kit. Since the price of professional bikini waxes run from around 20-30€, depending on the type and your location, they can potentially save you money in the long run.

When is Wimbledon 2021?

In 2021, Wimbledon will take place over two weeks at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club between 28 June and 11 July. The Championships at Wimbledon is one of four Grand Slam tournaments in the tennis calendar, alongside the Australian Open, French Open and US Open. It traditionally takes place after the French Open, also known as Roland Garros, and before the US Open - and is the only Grand Slam to be played on grass courts. How many spectators will be allowed into Wimbledon 2021? Organisers are working towards a minimum capacity of 25 percent for the 2021 tournament, which could see 6,000 tickets available to the public each day of the 13-day spectacle. Discussions with the government continue to find the safest way possible to hold the tournament, with social distancing measures and mask wearing indoors expected. Henman Hill is likely to be accessible to spectators in some form, such as reduced capacity. Will more Wimbledon 2021 tickets become available? The tournament begins a week after the last step in the government’s roadmap out of lockdown restrictions, initially planned for 21 June when all social contact laws could be lifted.

Pound stabilises as UK reopens

Staying up to date with the latest currency news can help you time your transfers effectively, so find out what you should be looking out for over the month ahead… Latest currency news...Over the last month, GBP/EUR has fallen as low as €1.14 before stabilising just above €1.16, while EUR/GBP has drifted between £0.87 and £0.86. What’s been happening? The pound fluctuated against the euro over the past month, with Sterling struggling towards the end of April as a result of some mixed data releases. After short-lived gains at the start of May, which were undermined by the Bank of England’s tone in its latest policy meeting, the pound mounted a sustained recovery as political uncertainty eased and more of the UK economy reopened. The euro, meanwhile, has benefited from broad weakness in the US dollar over the past four weeks thanks to the negative correlation in the world’s most traded currency pairing. EUR exchange rates have also been bolstered by improving optimism in the Eurozone, amidst the EU’s accelerating vaccine rollout. What do you need to look out for? Over the next month a key focus will be on UK coronavirus developments. As the spread of the Indian variant threatens to disrupt the government’s roadmap forreopening, any delays would likely hit the pound hard. For EUR investors, the spotlight will be on the European Central Bank (ECB). Speculation that the bank could start reducing its bond purchases following its June policy meeting could send the euro sharply higher.
