Continuum Care of Sarasota staff combines strong clinical excellence with a holistic approach to end-of-life care by off ering specialty programs such as music therapy, virtual reality experience, and equine therapy; and other holistic modalities such as massage therapy, reiki, and clinical aromatherapy.

Continuum Care staff is committed to ensuring the end-of-life journey is comforting and peaceful for both the patient and their loved ones. Our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, Certifi ed Music Therapists, Certifi ed Massage Therapists, volunteers, and Medical Directors is to enhance the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses and provide their loved ones with the support they need for the duration of the illness. Certifi ed Music Therapists work with our patients to provide peace and joy though the use of soothing music and song. Studies have shown that music can be used to relieve pain and support physical or mental peace by guiding patients through musical experiences. Fostering Personal Connections through Virtual Reality

Patients and their loved one’s revisit meaningful places, share stories, engage with family members, venture to places they always wanted to visit. Visiting home towns, favorite vacation spots or reliving exciting adventures when they were well is a positive way to do life review with loved ones. Equine Therapy Brings Peace and Comfort

Provides emotional growth for patients and loved ones who create a connection with horses that can lead to the ease of anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms; as well as assist in the bereavement process.
