By saying so long to their locks, four students at Ralph M. Williams Jr. Elementary School in Viera raised more than $5,000 to combat childhood cancer. Caden Sichler, Jack Hancock and brothers Connor and Kyle Yancey joined more than 400 other men, women, teens and children who had their heads shaved during the fourth annual Space Coast St. Baldrick’s Foundation Shave and Auction
March 15 at the Avenue Viera. Money raised will benefit research of pediatric cancer, which strikes one in 300 boys and one in 333 girls before they turn 20. As a cheering crowd looked on, the four boys marched onto a stage, took their seats and let electric razor-wielding volunteer stylists cut off their hair. Afterward, the boys, who took part as a team named Cobra Kai from the movie “The Karate Kid,” were showered
