2024 STEPS TO ENROLL

Graduating High School Seniors

Do Before High School Graduation

Apply for admission and verify your Florida Residency Status

Visit seminolestate.edu/apply to apply. On the application, you will be prompted to complete the Residency Affidavit. Students under the age of 24 must enter parent/legal guardian’s information in this section. Visit sem.st/residency for more information.

Submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

If you are interested in receiving financial aid (including scholarships) to help pay for college, complete a FAFSA at studentaid.gov/fafsa. Seminole State’s six-digit FAFSA code is 001520.

Access your student account

After your admissions application has been submitted and processed, you will receive two emails to the email address used to complete your application. These emails will provide you with your Student ID, username, and instructions on how to activate your student account.

Seminole State Account Username: @live.seminolestate.edu

(Your Seminole State Account Username is the same as your Seminole State email.)

Seminole State Account Password:

(To set or reset your password, visit sspr.seminolestate.edu)

Complete the Student Welcome and schedule your Registration Lab

Complete the Student Welcome at seminolestate.edu/welcome using your Seminole State Account Username and Password to log in. At the end of the Student Welcome, you will be prompted to schedule a Registration Lab at which time, you will meet with an academic advisor to select your first-term classes.

Do After High School Graduation

Submit your official, final high school transcript

The college needs to verify your graduation date on your official final transcript after graduation. Without a final high school transcript, you can schedule your Registration lab to meet with an advisor, but an official, final high school transcript on file with the College is required to attend classes and receive financial aid.
