In addition, today, there is ample potential data that an enterprise can gather on people who participate in one of their services. With the collection of more data, the likelihood of cybercriminal whose goal is to steal PII is another concern.

Cybersecurity also needs to address end-user education, as workers might accidentally bring a virus into the workplace on their work computer, laptop, or smartphone.

Another significant challenge faced by cybersecurity is the staffing shortage. Since the growth in data from enterprises is very vital, the need for more cybersecurity personnel with the appropriate skills to analyze, manage, and respond to incidents increases.

To conclude, though, there are many obstacles in the path of cybersecurity; however, if deployed and utilized in the right way, it can save enterprises as well as individuals from significant losses.
