Overview:
• Add to growing ecosystem
• Pathway/pipeline builder
• Support tech, co-working, VC investment in Miami
• Yearly pitch competition in April
Qualifications:
• Companies selected through a pitch competition
• Focus on innovative and high-growth potential start-ups
• Must lease co-working space in Miami DDA District
• Must have a recommendation letter from one of our start-up partners
• Cannot be a crypto business or platform
• Must participate in 2 Miami DDA events
RETAIL Grant: $50K
Overview:
• In demand retail
• Fashion based retail
• Food & beverage concepts
• Entertainment and arts & culture companies
• One-Stop-Shop Downtown
• Available for up to 10 businesses
• 1 year program
MID-SIZE BUSINESS Grant: Up to $50K
Overview:
• Focus on target industries
• Finance / Tech
• Healthcare
• (HQ) national or regional
• Professional Services
• Entertainment and arts & culture companies
• Available for up to 10 businesses
• 1 year program
Qualifications:
• Strategic target area focus
• Must be ground floor
• Annual revenue must not exceed $3 million
• Business in operation for at least 1 year
• Must lease space in Miami DDA District
• Compliance with all local zoning & permitting regulations
• No businesses in regulated industries
• Must participate in 2 Miami DDA events
Qualifications:
• Companies with 50 employees or less
• Must be in business for at least 2 years previously and or have expertise in the business
• Must lease space in Miami DDA District (3 years)
• Must participate in 2 Miami DDA events
• Wage requirements apply
• Preference for 10 or more employees
If combined with the Façade Improvement or Lighting Grant, you can obtain up to $100,000
All businesses that apply to the Incentive Fund Program are subject to Miami DDA Board approval.
