Experience prevails in OB Tennis
Retired Selwyn House Math Teacher Andy Lumsden now has his name on the Old Boys’ Tennis Tournament trophy a record six times. He and his partner, Matthew Beckerleg ’94 edged out Kosta Grillas 2012 and Andrew Ramsey ’84 to win the 15th annual Tournament, held on June 11 at Hillside Tennis Club.
In one of the rounds, the oldest men in the game, Colin Ross ’51 and William Daly ’52, beat EJ Boffey and Matthew Rossy, both of the Class of 2012! Competing were: Matthew Beckerleg ’94, EJ Boffey 2012, William Daly ’52, Kosta Grillas 2012, Hal Hannaford (staff), Nicholas Kaulbach ’94, Brendan Keefe 2010, Andrew Lumsden (retired staff), Charles Porteous ’84, Andrew Ramsey ’84, Colin Ross ’51 and Matthew Rossy 2012.
