Colin No Fund hits $117G

Twenty-three Old Boys and staff members came out on January 16 to play in the tenth annual Colin No Classic Basketball Tournament.

The winning team included three staff members, two of whom made up in experience what they lacked in stamina.

Proceeds from the event go toward a fund in memory of

Colin No, a ’97 graduate who died in 2002. The Colin No Fund, which provides needs-based bursaries for students attending Selwyn

House, has recently grown to a sum of $117,000. With a school endowment of $12M, Selwyn House has paid out $478,000 in bursaries this year from all bursary funds. The school’s goal is to reach an endowment of $20 M in three years, which would allow the school to pay out $850,000 per year in bursaries. For more photos, go to www.selwyn.ca/photos.
