Section II) Additional information: Contact information For any questions pertaining to billing and payments, please contact Pia Lalli lallip@selwyn.ca or 514-931-9481 (ext. 2268) Payment methods Payment methods include the following: a) Cheque b) Online banking c) Direct debit (MySelwyn) Online banking: To make online payments, use SELWYN HOUSE ASSOCIATION as the Payee. Add the account number, which is the student number (4 letters followed by 6 digits), this number can be found on the top right hand corner of the statement of accounts. Direct debit (MySelwyn): Enrollment in the direct debit must be renewed each year. The deadline to do so is August 15th, after this date the payment will not be processed on September 1st and will then have to be processed by the parent. Selwyn House has no control over the direct debit payments as these are managed by our third party supplier. Interest and financing charges: Interest is charged at an annual rate of 15% and is calculated on all balances outstanding for more than 30 days. Financing fees for monthly and quarterly plans are $750 and $800, respectively. Re-enrollment fee: 2026-27 re-enrollment fee paid will be applied as a credit on February 1st 2027. Child Care Receipts Child care receipts will be issued at the end of the calendar year to eligible parents of Elementary School students only. The parent’s social insurance number is required for the issuance of this receipt. Parents should be aware that a number of conditions have to be met in order to use these receipts for income tax purposes, and we suggest they contact their tax advisers before they proceed. Privatization Fund Abatement Recognizing the continued difficulty sustained by going fully private, the board of directors has authorized a rebate of up to $700 (up to $500 for Kindergarten) to be funded by the school’s Path Forward Campaign to offset the full impact of the fee increase. This amount is netted against tuition on statements. Bursaries and Scholarships Note: For the 2027/2028 academic year, Selwyn House will start using Apple Financial Services (AFS) for bursary applications. Families still applying for the 2026/2027 academic year should contact the Admissions Office, who will provide the information needed to apply through the previous system (FAST) which will be available until August 31, 2026. Selwyn House is committed to being a diverse and inclusive community. A bursary is defined as a financial needs-based scholarship. It directly reduces a student’s tuition fees and is not a loan. Bursaries at the Secondary School level are generally not taxable, though there are certain filing requirements. Parents who are interested in applying for a bursary may do so by using the Apple Financial Services (AFS) online application form located on the Tuition and Bursaries page in the Admissions section of the school’s website. The purpose of this program is to analyze a family’s income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Once submitted online, AFS will analyze the information and send its recommendations to the school. The application is then reviewed by the Bursary Committee and parents are informed of the bursary for which they may qualify. Bursaries for the following academic year are awarded in the fall for Grades 7 to 11, and in mid-January for Grade 12. For more information on bursary opportunities, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@selwyn.ca or 514.931.2775. 4
