Supporting your

NHS Couch to 5K: Does the thought of running for 5km fill you with dread? The Couch to 5k app from the NHS slowly builds up your stamina over the course of 9 weeks, encouraging you to get up from the sofa and get moving. Each week involves just three runs, starting with 20 minutes of exercise that alternates 60 seconds of running with 90 seconds of walking. By the end of the 9-week programme, you’ll be able to run for 5km – or for 30 minutes straight. Encouragement is given throughout each workout by your choice of celebrity voiceover. Choose from popular personalities including Jo Whiley, Sarah Millican or Michael Johnson to cheer you on! (Jo Whiley is a personal favourite of Caoire and Beth!)
