COLLECTION OF WORKS BY ABBOTT PATTISON (AMERICAN, 1916-1999).

Nine bronze sculptures (each $500 - $1,500) and ephemera collection of Abbott Pattison. Originally from Chicago, IL he studied at the School of Fine Arts at Yale University before returning to Chicago to teach and exhibit at the Art Institute. He was commissioned many times over by the University of Georgia, his papers are held at the Archives of American Art.

COLLECTION OF WORKS BY DORR BOTHWELL (AMERICAN, 1902-2000).

Work by renowned artist Dorr Bothwell, a California based post-surrealist artist who studied under Gottardo Piazzoni. Her many noteworthy honors include 1979 San Francisco Women in the Arts Award and the PollockKrasner grant in 1998. Her works are also held in the collections of MET, MoMa, Whitney, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. She also co-authored Notan: The Dark-Light Principle of Design.

Meyer, a Missouri born Marian monk, practiced in St. Louis County. Essentially a prolific outsider artist, Mel was awarded an honorary PhD from Saint Louis University and has many works housed in the Ellen Clark Sculpture Park.

A book about his work and life was published in 2009.
