KU Giving, Spring 2021

Madison and Lila Self’s generous contributions to the University of Kansas were featured in the Spring 2021 issue of KU Giving, KU Endowment’s magazine. Dale Seuferling, KU Endowment President, gave a heartfelt tribute to the pair in discussing his own experience of getting to know them personally. The additional two-page spread features an interview with Max Fairlamb, 2017-2021 Fellow. From the article: “The support provided by the Selfs has changed my life and the lives of so many others,” Fairlamb said. “Stories of their charm and commitment to student empowerment are still being shared by students. What the Selfs have built here at KU is extraordinary, and I count myself lucky to be part of such an incredible program.”
