This document intends to provide some operational guidance to Self Help Africa (SHA) Ethiopia’s country office staff and partners on applying a gender perspective to their work and, more particularly, on mainstreaming gender throughout the project cycle, in accordance with the global SHA gender strategy. Hence, it should be read in conjunction with SHA’s Guide on Gender and Inclusion. It is intended to be illustrative rather than exhaustive, since it is not possible to provide a one stop source of solutions for every gender issue raised.
