We spoke to several models about how their careers began. Jack Cope’s journey started when a friend sent his pictures to Select, a modeling agency. At the time, Jack didn’t think much of it, but to his surprise, Select signed him straight away. Within a week, he was modeling for Dsquared in a campaign and show. Jack was thrilled and thought, “God, this is amazing! I’ve only been with Select for two weeks, and this is what happened.” He loves traveling, which makes modeling even more appealing. Although Jack was an accomplished rugby player before he started modeling, he has decided to focus entirely on his career.

Charlie, on the other hand, was a rugby player who was always too focused on his sport to consider modeling. Select tried to persuade him to come and try it out, but Charlie was hesitant. He eventually decided to give it a shot and was booked right away. However, he chose to continue playing sports. The following summer, Charlie dedicated his time to a school in Uganda, teaching underprivileged children. After returning from Uganda, Charlie finally joined Select and quickly landed gigs with brands like Gorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Next, Foot Asylum, and Wonderland, among others.

Rocco, on the other hand, started his modeling career at just three months old, represented by Kids London UK. As he grew up, he continued to work for many well-known brands, including Mothercare, Next, Marks and Spencer’s, and Burberry. He also developed a passion for acting and won several

awards for his performances while attending Studio 74, a stage school. Rocco is now studying photography A-level and enjoys travel, music, fashion, and football in his free time.

Finally, there’s Samuel Reeves, a 19-yearold with a unique background: he was born and raised in London and is of Tanzanian and Australian descent. Although he was frequently told from a young age that he should consider modeling, Samuel dismissed these compliments. A few months ago, a platform staff member suggested that he should pursue modeling, and Samuel decided to give it a try. He went for a walk-in at Select, and the agency signed him right away. Samuel has been enjoying his time at Select and is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his modeling career. Tandy’s Thoughts

Tandy Anderson, Co-Founder of Select Model Management and Editor-in-Chief of this magazine, has a deep affection for Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença as she owns a house in Mallorca. The yacht club holds a special place in Tandy’s heart, as it was the perfect venue for her wedding to photographer, Lawrence James Thomas in 2017. The breathtaking views of the port provided an idyllic backdrop for the star-studded event. Tandy expresses her gratitude to Felipe, the manager of the yacht club at the time, who made the event even more special by closing the club to the public.

The Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença is also known for its incredible food, with mouth-watering dishes like lobster, filet steak and paella, which Tandy highly praises. She gives a special shoutout to the Chef for creating such memorable culinary experiences.

Mallorca has become a frequent destination for Tandy and her family, especially the area of Cala Sant Vicenc. With extensive knowledge of the island, Tandy has discovered some hidden gems. Among them is the Windsurf Restaurant, owned by Matteo and his family, which Tandy considers her home away from home. Matteo has always made Tandy and her family feel welcome and like they never left.

Another standout restaurant Tandy would like to mention is Stay, where Jesús, the head waiter, has made every visit a memorable one. With Tandy’s passion for food and travel, it’s no wonder she’s discovered these hidden treasures on the beautiful island of Mallorca.
