Car show, online auction to help collect toys for Blue Santa By Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
cars, trucks, we are going to have some big diesel fourwheel drive trucks here. We have the original Dukes of Hazzard car coming in from the very first episode. I think we have a monster truck coming and we’ve got some other surprises that are going to be here as well. I really can’t give that out until I get confirmation today. But anyway, it’s going to be a good time. DJ D Trayne is going to be here doing the DJ’ing for us. Everybody needs to come out and check it all out,” said Elley.
(Seguin) -- A local business is soliciting the help of a pair of country artists and a group of car and bike enthusiasts to help ensure that every child finds a gift under the Christmas tree. Philip Elley, owner of Koda Powder Coating LLC, will be hosting a Blue Santa Car Show on Saturday and online auction this Friday. Elley says the car show is his attempt at giving folks that one last chance to donate a toy for the Seguin Police Department’s Blue Santa Program. “We are doing it across the street at the church (First United Methodist) parking lot from our business. It’s $20 to enter the car show. It’s basically just going to be a Show and Shine. We are giving out awards for first, second and third and Best of Show Overall. It’s either $20 to get in or bring a $20 unwrapped toy. That’s what we actually prefer, and we are going to do about 10 classes,

Elley says an online auction is also currently underway featuring an autographed guitar by Country Artist Kevin Fowler. Elley says bids will be accepted through noon Friday. See CAR SHOW page 3
