A brief biography of the celebrant as presented by our family on her Silver Jubilee + Two Anniversary Celebration
on this day 6th of august 2022.
ev. Sr. Miriam Genevieve Nkeiruka Nwaizu was born to the family of Chief Michael Anaekwuochie and Ezinne Anastacia Onuekwuzumma Nwaizu of Umeakumiri kindred, Ikpa Ozuakoli Autonomous Community, Urualla clan in Ideato North L.G.A. Imo State. She was born in the same year her mates were born and known as Juliana Chinasa Nkeiruka Nwaizu prior to her religious profession when she changed her names to the present status as required by the Order of Sisterhood. Sr. Genny is the fifth child of our family of eight children of our parents. She attended the following schools; Pioneer primary School Odoakpu and Prince Girls High school Inland town all in Onitsha, Anambra State. Her early life and behavior depicts that of one gearing towards a religious life and vocation as she will not fail to finish her own share of home chores early enough so as to enable her to attend the Block Rosary crusade in the evening. She was so engrossed with the things of God that at her tender age, she was a prominent member of the Catholic Charismatic renewal and Catholic Girls Organization of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish Onitsha. She furthered her education and is presently a holder of Master’s Degree in Education Administration from St. John’s University, New York, U.S.A. At the completion of her secondary education, she joined Religious vocation and took her first vow as a Reverend Sister in 1995. Sister Genny eventually did her final profession (Final Vow) in 2002.

Our Daughter and Sister is a kind hearted and virtuous woman who has touched and changed many lives in various ways, no wonder in her early years into Sisterhood, she was nicknamed Sister umu ogbenye (Sister for the Poor). This was as a result of her nature which is an embodiment of Charity, Compassion and Benevolence. In her quest to help the less privileged in the society, she floated the idea of how to help the children of the less privileged to attain basic education through scholarship, she sold the idea of establishing an education foundation for the less privileged to other members of our family. And this noble idea was adopted by the family as she proposed. Ladies and Gentlemen, as we stand here today, I wish to inform us that we as a family have established a foundation known as “EZINNE ANASTASIA CHIBUGO NWAIZU EDUCATION FOUNDATION FOR THE LESS PRIVILEGED” in our Community, thanks to the ingenuity and large heart of Rev. Sr. Genny. (Adaeze).
My dear people of God, join our family as we celebrate our beloved Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Cousin by giving her a round of applause for reaching this milestone in her religious life. May the Almighty God Bless all of you who supported her and our family in various ways to make this occasion a reality. We pray the Lord to reward you all abundantly, and may celebration never seize in your households.
