My Ramadan Reading Competition

Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The My Ramadan Journey Competition is a school-led educational initiative supported by Little Thinking Minds.

The competition is held during the official month of Ramadan, beginning on the first day of Ramadan and ending on the last day of Ramadan, as determined by each participating country.

This period constitutes the official competition period.

The competition aims to encourage students to build consistent daily reading and learning habits throughout the holy month.

Participation in the competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Participation is optional for both schools and students.

2. School Registration & Participation

● Schools must confirm participation by completing the official participation form.

○ Only authorized teachers or school administrators may submit the form.

● No individual student registration form is required.

● Student participation must be supervised and managed internally by the school.

3. Eligibility

● The competition is open to students from Grade 1 through Grade 12 in participating schools.

● All activities must be completed exclusively on the following Little Thinking Minds platforms:

○ I Read Arabic

○ I Start Arabic

● Only activities completed during the official competition period will be counted.

4. Competition Structure

During the competition period, students complete platform-based activities, including:

● Reading

● Listening

● Quizzes

● Completion of unit-based tasks

A printed physical calendar may be used as an optional tracking tool; however, it is not required and is not used for official verification.

Performance is measured solely based on the total number of verified activities completed on the platforms during the official competition period.

5. Progress Tracking & Verification

● Results are determined exclusively using official platform data from Little Thinking Minds.

● Student activity is automatically tracked within the system.

● Official reports will be generated after the competition concludes to determine certificates and winners.

● Little Thinking Minds reserves the right to review, audit, and verify all participation data.

Only verified platform data will be used in determining results.

6. Winner Selection

A. Completion Certificates

Any student who completes 50 or more activities during the official competition period will receive:

● A digital Certificate of Completion

Certificates will be shared with the participating school for printing and distribution.

B. Student Winners

A total of nine (9) student winners will be selected across all participating schools.

To ensure regional representation and fairness, winners will be selected as follows:

● Three (3) top students per region, based on the highest total number of books read and completed during the official competition period.

Regional Breakdown

● Region 1: UAE, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia

● Region 2: KSA, Bahrain, Egypt

● Region 3: Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq

Winners will be determined strictly based on:

● The highest total number of verified books read and completed on the Little Thinking Minds platforms during the month of Ramadan.

Each student winner will receive:

● A Reading Star Certificate

● A Seesaw / Little Thinking Minds swag bag

All rankings will be calculated using verified platform data only.

C. School Winners

A total of six (6) schools will be selected across all participating schools.

To ensure regional representation and fairness, winners will be selected as follows:

Two (2) top schools per region, based on the highest total number of completed activities during the month of Ramadan.

Regional Breakdown

● Region 1:

UAE, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia

● Region 2: KSA, Bahrain, Egypt

● Region 3: Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq

Each winning school will receive:

● A one-year complimentary Seesaw AI subscription

The final number of winning schools may be adjusted based on total participation volume and regional distribution.

7. Recognition & School Visits

Celebratory visits may be organized for selected winning schools at the discretion of the organizing team.

If photos or videos are taken during such visits:

● Written parental consent must be obtained in advance.

● No student media will be used for marketing or promotional purposes without explicit written approval.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

● No individual student registration forms are required.

● No additional personal data is collected beyond standard platform usage.

● All results are calculated using existing verified platform data only.

● Data is used solely for competition administration purposes.

● All data processing complies with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.

9. Disqualification

Little Thinking Minds reserves the right to disqualify any participant if:

● Activities are completed outside the official competition period.

● Artificial activity inflation, manipulation, or misuse is detected.

● Platform policies or terms of use are violated.

All verification and selection decisions are final.

10. General Conditions

● Little Thinking Minds reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

● All decisions regarding eligibility, verification, and winner selection are final.

● The competition is educational in nature and does not require any purchase.

● Activation of the Seesaw AI subscription is subject to Seesaw’s standard activation terms and technical requirements.
