Making learning more accessible with Seesaw The story Jennett’s Park CE Primary School began using Seesaw in 2020 for remote learning. Since then, it has become part of everyday teaching across the curriculum by helping teachers respond to individual needs, capture learning and give every pupil more ways to show what they know.

It’s absolutely changed our approach to teaching and learning.

The challenge

Beyond the numbers

Jennett’s Park wanted to make learning more responsive to individual needs without increasing teacher workload.

Greater independence

With traditional whole-class resources, pupils could not always revisit modelling, instructions or key vocabulary when they needed them. Creating and organising additional resources also took valuable teacher time.

What changed with Seesaw Teachers can now bring lesson content, modelling, scaffolds, extension activities and feedback together in one place. Pupils can pause and replay explanations, revisit resources at their own pace and respond using voice, video, speech-totext and other creative tools. For pupils with SEND and EAL, support can be built directly into everyday lessons, helping them participate alongside their peers.

Pupils can revisit teaching and resources when they need them, building confidence and reducing reliance on adult support.

Time back for teachers Resources can be adapted and reused, reducing preparation and printing while keeping teaching, pupil work and feedback connected.

More inclusive classrooms Different ways to access content and demonstrate understanding help teachers meet a wider range of needs within the same lesson.

Award-winning and fully compliant

Stronger family connections Parents and carers get a clearer window into classroom learning through the work pupils share.
