PROJECT 01 : COLLAGE
DIGITAL AND ANALOG - PHOTOSHOP INTRODUCTION This project introduced a study on layering objects and perspective lines through a physical analog process and digital process in photoshop. The location assigned and researched in Philadelphia: Academy of Music, 1857. The site was visited on a number of occasions to document the feeling of the location. This was studied by photos, videos, sketches, noises and overall experience. After grasping a good understanding of the space and studying it, a number of details and images were printed to produce the analog process. Once that was completed, the images were then collected and opened in a photoshop file to re-create a doppelganger of the analog production. The digital process involved an introduction to photoshop, it included the study of layering and using the transform tool with the images.

PROJECT 02 : MONOGRAPH
TYPOLOGY OF THE MODERN LIBRARY - IN DESIGN INTRODUCTION This project involved the research from physical books from the Gutman Library at the university. The chosen topic for the assignment was to study the language, geometry, and materiality of libraries around the world. With the production and gathering of the scanned images and data collected, they were produced as a monograph, with an organized composition, layout and organization. Adobe InDesign was introduced as the best fit for making this monograph as it curates and gathers all the data inputted in collective and packaged way. For the physical part of the monograph, the binding was creating with two matt boards with red paper glued on top, and wax linen threaded into it for support.

PROJECT 03 : SITE ANALYSIS
SITE COMPOSITE DIAGRAM SYNTHESIS - AUTO CAD & ILLUSTRATOR INTRODUCTION This project involved the close study of locations Philadelphia Museum Steps, PA, USA, and Piazza Di Spagna, Rome, Italy. The class was assigned to research and take individual responsibility for specific diagramming of their inventory category. Through the introduction to using programs Auto-Cad and Adobe Illustrator, observing and mapping of the locations was done. Through visualizing information and creative problem solving for design and software interrogation, the production of the class’s coordinated and merged diagrams came about through layering in Auto-cad. Later, they were transferred into Illustrator and had effects and line weights added and adjusted to them. And since, the final production came about.

PROJECT 04 : CASE STUDY MILLER HOUSE AND GARDEN, 1957
Developed research skills to study the Miller House and Garden, located in Columbus, Indiana, USA, which was designed by landscape architect Dan Kiley, architect Eero Saarinen, and interior designer Alexander Girard. Created scale models of house and site, as well as drawings to further develop visual literacy three-dimensionally with teammates: Evan Ford, and Loganne Caka.

PROJECT 05 : MONDO MATERIALIS LIGHT - MOTION - OVERLAP
After producing the Miller House and Garden models, this project required individual focus of three intellectual, and sensual elements that could be found in the case study house while understanding the relationship of color, material, space and light. Decided to focus on the elements of light, from sun and shade, motion, from circulation designed on the site and gardens, and overlap from nature leaving its mark on the site. Project 2 consisted of three parts: a hybrid drawing, a rendered perspective, and a conceptual analysis as a model. These productions included the study of the three elements into them.

PROJECT 06 : VISITOR CENTER ADDITION TO CASE STUDY HOUSE
Since the material exploration with form and concept, the visitor center was assigned to be an addition to the assigned case study house. From this, an application of the development of a new building with the concepts learned from previous projects was produced. With using precedent and interesting elements chosen, an ability to visualize and verbalize the design came about. Learned basic structural systems and grasped an understanding for sensual experience in the desired interior and exterior space with the awareness of color and form. The visitor center was designed on the slope found on the Miller House and Garden’s site, and included an experience that functions as leisure and commercial space. The center was also intended to enhance visitor experience of the beauty and vastness of the Millers gardens views, as well as studying paths for circulation.

PROJECT 07 : SITE INSTALLATION NATURE AND DESIGN AS ONE
This project required the help of group peers Evan Ford, Adriana Soto Ruiz, and Molly Bradley to join forces and produce a design in nature. The assignment asked for the consideration of nature and a design to imitate or reside with it. The designated location was chosen for its natural attraction and proximity to pedestrians, as it’s one of the most used paths in the university. The concept came about with the use of naturally curved sticks that were held together with hemp rope, to fit flow of a wave that was shadowed by stones underneath it. The production floated from the tree branches above and imitated a wave to reside with the nature around it.

PROJECT 08 : MOSAIC LOGO GRADUATION PROJECT
The intention behind this project included the desire to be more knowledgeable with the mosaic world of art. The project was supposed to take up about 60 hours of time and to be documented along the way. The final product was then donated to the high school. The design was produced with glass mosaic tiles that were cut by hand to fit the desired look, and represent the high school’s logo.

PROJECT 09 : PORTRAIT RE-PRODUCTION GRAPHIC DESIGN
With the intention of this project, Adobe Illustrator was the main tool of use. The assignment asked for a choosing of any person or celebrity to be recreated with only the use of triangles. The chosen subject is the famous artist Rihanna, and the project required 30 hours of work.

PROJECT 10 : AIAS CAMPAIGN PACKET BOARD MEMBERS PACKET
This was created to allow the new board applicants for our American Institute of Architecture Students chapter at Jefferson University to campaign to our students and members. This was created with the use of Adobe InDesign and was sent to the entirety of the College of Architecture and the Built Environment to let members decide who they wanted to vote for. The project used the famous logos of AIAS and Jefferson University to represent it’s meaning as well as showcasing the interested applicants and their answers to the prompt questions.
