March 18, 2018 TORMENTING DEMONS OF ANTICHRIST HINDERING THE SAINTS’ COMMITMENT (I John 2:18-27)

Sons and Daughters of my Parish Flock, God’s Grace to You! Ushers and Hospitality Ministries; Blessings of the Lord Christ be upon you today and every day of your committed life to Him! God directs me to remind you of the demonic spirits at work, bent on hindering your Christian labor. “Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that The Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.” (I John 2:18). The word “Antichrist” in Greek is Anti Christos, which is a combination of the prepetition Anti and the word Christos. Anti-mean “substitution.” Equals “Christ” the Messiah “Anointed One.” Satan is the origin of Antichrist. He has found ready recruits in every age. His tactics are usually subtle, pervasive, and virulent. Satan’s disciples disrupt the Church’s Bible-centered ministries by leading the saints into carnality of sinfulness hindering them from being obedient in Christian endeavor, including Church-worship attendance and lack of involvement and consistent financial support. The spirit of Antichrist is behind anti-Christian biblical teaching, preaching, fault-finding, gossip, negativism and a lack of holy praise and worship. The great coming of the Person of Antichrist is seen in Revelation 13:1-10. However, the spirit of Anti-Christ spoken of in the text is alive in the visible Church fellowship. Those demonic spirits of Anti-Christ cannot possess the saints. They can torment them causing them to deny the reality of Jesus Christ and His relationship to the Father (YAHWEH) and the Holy Spirit (NESHAMAH). In II John 2:7, we see the root, its lack of trust in the power of Christ Jesus and His blessed Word. But, bless God, nothing is impossible for our Lord Jesus Christ. Give yourself totally to Him. You don’t have much time! Amen Until He Comes, I Am Serving Christ Joyfully, Bishop Dr. Wm. La Rue Dillard Parish under-shepherd
