WORSHIP OF GOD Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 11 a.m.
Rev. John Uldrick: We ask for Your wisdom and clear direction over their lives, that You would give them understanding beyond their years. Dr. Joshua Scott: We ask for You to open doors that need to be opened and close every one that should be shut tight.
Leader: We come to hear the story of God's faithfulness to past generations.
Congregation: Allow every gift and treasure You have placed in their lives to grow and flourish, to bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Congregation: But we also look to the future as well as the past.
ANTHEM
Leader: The God who was with our ancestors is with us as well. Congregation: Then we can go forward in hope. Whatever else fails, God remains faithful. Nothing can separate us from the love of God! Praise be to God! HYMN NO. 315

OFFERTORY
Bill Gabbard: We pray that You give our children wisdom and direction in making decisions, and in each new situation and journey You have for them now. Congregation: Teach them to listen closely to Your voice, that they would have a heart to obey Your word and have a desire for right choices. Rev. Allie Osborne: We pray that these we love so much would walk faithfully and diligently in all Your ways. We ask that You make their footsteps firm, that Your word would be a constant lamp for their feet and a light to their path. Congregation: May they sense the freshness of Your spirit in their lives in amazing ways; may they be strengthened and instilled with hope for the new roads You have in store.

WORSHIP OF GOD Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 11 a.m.
WE LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE Welcome to worship at Second-Ponce! You belong here, and we hope you'll come back. We truly have something for everyone, and not just on Sundays. During the week, we have virtual small groups and Bible studies. Each Wednesday evening, we have Fellowship Supper, an adult discipleship study and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Now that you know a little about us, help us get to know you better by completing the blue or green card located in the pew rack. Simply hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate.
HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our Senior Pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
ADDITIONAL SUNDAY INFORMATION CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery for babies through pre-K and Kids Worship for children K through 5th grade. You can take your children to Kids Worship before the service or, if you’d prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for either the entire hour or until the Doxology and then go with our children's ministry leaders. You'll pick them up in the Kids’ Club area after worship. SHARING PRAYER REQUESTS At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. Let us know how by filling out a prayer request on the back of the pew rack card. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the SecondPonce ministerial staff after worship. GIVING AN OFFERING Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate.
