ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE Wednesday, February 26 | 6:15 p.m. | Chapel Begin the season of Lent with a worship service on Ash Wednesday. We will have our regular supper in the Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m. and then move to the Chapel for a time of worship and imparting of ashes. Dock Hollingsworth will preach Heart Transplant and look at the “right posture” to begin Lent. Don’t miss this meaningful service that starts our journey to the cross. BIG BROTHER/BIG SISTER SUNDAY Sunday, March 15 Big Brother/Big Sister Day is a special event for children and youth. On Sunday, March 15, we’ll pair each child with one youth during Sunday school and worship for a time of fellowship, games, Bible stories and special snacks. We hope this will be a fun opportunity to plant the seeds of new friendships and deepen the church family roots already growing in the lives of these children and youth. EXPLORING THE GOSPELS Tuesdays | March 10, 17, 24 & 31, April 7 & 14 6:30–8:30 p.m. | Cost: $100/person (scholarships available) Join us for a six-week deep dive into the Gospels led by Dr. Peter Rhea Jones, retired Professor of New Testament from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer and former Pastor of First Baptist Church in Decatur. COMMUNITY EGG HUNT Saturday, April 11 | 11 a.m. (staggered hunt times) | Second-Ponce Campus "Find" yourself at our annual Community Egg Hunt! There will be free food, drinks, a "jumpy" house and photos with the Easter Bunny! For those wanting to contribute, we will begin collecting individually wrapped, nut-free candy and empty plastic eggs in the Welcome Center next week.
