LEADING OUR OFFERTORY PRAYER Susan Raven and her husband, Neil, were married at Second-Ponce in 1992. She quickly joined the church and began singing in the Sanctuary Choir. She currently serves on the church’s Executive and Personnel committees. Susan is vice-chair of the Planned Gifts Committee and coordinates our flower ministry group which distributes creative bouquets made from the Sunday morning worship service flower arrangements to our homebound and hospitalized. She retired from Emory University's School of Medicine after 19 years of service there. Susan and Neil love to travel internationally and often visit Neil’s family in Australia.

SPECIAL MEN'S CHOIR—ALL MEN WELCOME Sunday, February 23 | 11 a.m. | Sanctuary While a number of our choir women are away on the Women's Retreat, we will have a men's choir leading us in worship on Sunday, February 23. Bill Gabbard invites all men to come to the choir rehearsal room at 10:30 a.m. on that Sunday, where we will run through music for the Call to Worship and Anthem. Oh, and there will be doughnuts! SPdL men, come one, come all ... especially those who cannot make a regular commitment to singing in the choir. MERCER SINGERS AT SPdL MARCH 1 Sunday, March 1 | 11 a.m. | Sanctuary The Mercer University Singers, under the direction of Mercer alum Dr. Stanley Roberts, will be leading our 11 a.m. worship service through music on Sunday, March 1. This outstanding group of young musicians will also be singing across the street at the Cathedral of St Philip at 3:15 p.m. that same day. Come support the Mercer Singers and experience a meaningful worship here at Second-Ponce!

WORSHIP OF GOD Sunday, February 16, 2020, at 11 a.m. HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU? At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. In fact, we consider this act an honor. Let us know how we can pray for you by filling out a prayer card located in the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship.

WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE If you haven't already, visit our welcome table located in the lobby of the Sanctuary (also called the Narthex). There, you'll find information about the church and friendly members ready to answer your questions. We hope you'll come back. We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and offer two worship opportunities: A traditional service in our Sanctuary at 11 a.m. and a contemporary service called All Together in our SPdL Theater at 4 p.m. We share Fellowship Supper Wednesdays at 5 p.m. followed by activities for children, youth & adults. During the week there are Bible studies, special events, guest speakers and more.

HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide the opportunity to join the church during the Hymn of Response. At any time during the song, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where our senior pastor or a Second-Ponce minister will greet you with warmth and joy.
