Use it to share as much information as you like and drop it in the offering plate. We understand that some people are hesitant to fill out church cards. It's true—a member of our pastoral staff will reach out, but you won't be flooded with communication. Engagement with us will be at your own pace.

If you're a guest who's ready to take the next step or a church member who wants to deepen your involvement, fill out the red pew card—I'm a Regular—and drop it in the offering plate. Let us know how we can help. RED CARD: FOR RETURNING GUESTS &

POSTLUDE Ain’t-a That Good News (from Spirituals for Organ) Marianne Kim Jack Mitchener, organ

FEBRUARY IS DISCIPLESHIP MONTH

Discipleship is one of Second-Ponce's four core values. As a Christ-centered church family we strive to equip people to discover God’s call for their lives. Through intentional prayer, scripture study, mission and fellowship, we can more fully develop as followers of Christ. Watch this month, as we highlight several discipleship ministries and offer information on how to incorporate spiritual practices in your daily life.

For more information on how to be involved or to express an interest in serving further with the Discipleship Council, email us at discipleship@spdl.org.

Also known as Communion, the Lord's Supper reminds us of Jesus' ultimate act of love—dying for our sins. The crackers and juice symbolize the sacrifice of His body and blood. The Lord's Supper is not a one-time rite, but rather a regular practice in our church.

All those who prolaim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are welome to join us in this ritual.

CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP

We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery and Kids Worship for babies–5th grade. You may take your children to the Kids' Club before the service or, if you prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for the entire hour or until the Doxology when kids leave with ministry leaders.

JOINING SECOND-PONCE

Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where a member of our ministry team will greet you with warmth and joy. If you're uncomfortable being "in the spotlight," but still want to join–that's ok! Speak with one of our ministers after worship and they'll walk you through an alternate plan.

ATLANTA COMMUNITY FOOD BANK HUNGER WALK/RUN

Sun, Mar. 9 After Worship The Home Depot Backyard

Second-Ponce is continuing the tradition of participating in the Atlanta Community Food Bank's Hunger Walk/Run, and we need your support! The money raised from this event goes directly to helping the 1 in 8 neighbors facing hunger in our community. Here's how you can get involved:

• Make a financial donation to our team's fundraising total.

• Join our team and fundraise with us. You can walk/run in person or virtually. Once you've registered, you will have your own personal fundraising page that you can share with others to ask for donations on your behalf. Any gifts made directly on your behalf will automatically be credited to our team's overall fundraising totals. Donate and/or sign up to participate at www.spdl.org/rsvp.

YOUR VOICE IS VITAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FEB. 14

After months of listening sessions and committee meetings, and a lot of prayer, the pastor search survey is here! The survey is anonymous with questions aimed at:

• Assessing–as a church–where we are now

• Dreaming of what kind of church we want to be

• Defining pastoral priorities and preferences

• Prioritizing sermon content and delivery

Scan this QR code or visit www.spdl.org/pastorsurvey. Completing the survey online goes a long way toward helping the committee assess and share the results. Paper surveys are in the Welcome Center.

LOOKING TO LENT

LENTEN WORSHIP ART

The 2025 SPdL Lenten Worship Art Project will feature art of all creative expressions to enhance and enrich the Lenten sermon series theme of “Dark Corners.” Members of the Second-Ponce community are invited to submit original existing pieces (large-scale paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography preferred) for consideration for display as part of the project. Please contact Jonathan Hall with submissions or any questions. Submissions are due by Sunday, February 23.

WEEKS

Week 27 Feb. 2–8: Praying for Spiritual Strength

The next two weeks we will be praying intentionally and specifically for our Pastor Search Committee and the search process.

Read: Habakkuk 3:19 (NLT) and Psalm 18:1–3 Pray: Sovereign God, fill our Pastor Search Committee and lay leaders with Your spirit and strength. Shield them from Satan’s attacks. Give them the wisdom to discern Your will and strength to stand firm in Your truth. Help them to seek Christ in the midst of all the challenges and distractions they face. Bless them with Your love and joy. Protect and bless their families. Amen.
