All: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all His benefits—Who forgives all your iniquity, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the Pit, Who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, Who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP HYMN NO. 323
WORSHIP OF GOD
Marshall
Maria Harle and Calvin Milam
Maria: In the presence of God, we gather as a faith community to offer praise through generous giving. Calvin: We are reminded of Hebrews 13:5, where we are assured that God will never leave us or forsake us. All: God's unwavering commitment invites us to respond in gratitude and worship. Maria: We understand that giving is an act of trust in God's eternal faithfulness. Calvin: In Romans 12:1-2, the Apostle Paul encourages us, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, on the basis of God’s mercy, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship." All: We acknowledge that our gifts are tangible expressions of our dedication to God. Maria: Let us remember that our giving is not confined to material possessions alone. We also give our time, our talents and our love in service to God and neighbor. Calvin: When we give, we align our hearts and actions with God's divine mission. We seek transformation, that we may discern what is good and perfect in God’s sight. All: May our lives be living sacrifices, dedicated to God's glory. Maria: We give, not out of compulsion, but with joy, as a form of worship.

WE LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE Welcome to worship at Second-Ponce! We hope you find this hour to be joyful and transformative. Our church has something for everyone, and not just on Sundays. During the week, we have special dinners, small groups and Bible studies. Wednesday evenings, we share Fellowship Supper followed by adult discipleship and ageappropriate activities for children and teens. We hope you'll join us! And now that you know a little about us, help us get to know you better by completing the blue or green card located in the pew rack and hand it to a minister or drop it in the offering plate. HOW TO JOIN Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where a member of our ministry team will greet you with warmth and joy. If you're uncomfortable being "in the spotlight," but still want to join– that's ok! Speak with of one our ministers after worship and they'll walk you through an alternate plan.
ADDITIONAL SUNDAY INFORMATION CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery and Kids Worship for babies–5th grade. You may take your children to the Kids' Club before the service or, if you prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for the entire hour or until the Doxology (when kids leave with children's ministry leaders). After worship, pick them up in the Kids’ Club. SHARING PRAYER REQUESTS At Second-Ponce, you have a church family who welcomes the opportunity to join you in prayer. Let us know your prayer needs by filling out a request card located on the back of the pew rack. You can drop it in the offering plate or give it to a member of the Second-Ponce ministerial staff after worship. GIVING AN OFFERING Your financial support of Second-Ponce allows us to carry out the mission God has for our church. There are giving cards in the pew racks that utilize a QR code for making gifts online. You may also drop your offering in the offering plate.
