FALL PREVIEW PICNIC Sunday, September 8 | After worship | SPdL Plaza | Cost: Free Join us for fried chicken and fellowship to kick off a new season of activities and opportunities at Second-Ponce. We’ll provide the main dish, sides and drinks and we’re asking our church family to bring desserts. There’s no program during this lunch, but we’ll share a little about upcoming fall events that we hope you’ll add to your calendar. PRAYER WALK Sunday, September 8 | After lunch September 8, we will purposefully and deliberately pray for all that takes place on the SPdL campus as we “walk” the halls of our church. Come pray for our new All Together worship, children’s, youth and music ministries, our staff and teachers, the Preschool and Family Life Center, among others. When you finish lunch, drop by the information table on the plaza and pick up a short guide to prayer then follow the signs to begin. If you cannot stay, pick up a prayer guide on your way home and throughout the week, voice your prayers for our ministries. MERGING GOD, COMMUNITY & DIVERSITY, ALL TOGETHER Beginning Sunday, September 15 | 4 p.m. | SPdL Theater Second-Ponce's commitment to being salt and light in our community has birthed a new opportunity to connect people to the love of God. Each Sunday at 4 p.m. we'll host a new worship expression that we're calling All Together, a name deeply rooted in double meaning—It supports how this service blends worshiping God, building community and embracing diversity, and it reflects how we, as a church family, are committed to the common purpose of sharing the hope of Christ with a hurting world. The service atmosphere may be different from our 11 a.m. offering, but the goal is still the same—to worship a living God through scripture, music and message. If you'd like a second helping of Sunday worship or know of a family, student or group looking for an afternoon service opportunity, All Together might be the answer. Come check it out and help spread the word that Second-Ponce has something for everyone!
