Growing up, people never saw me as ‘normal’. I did not have many friends and was considered to be an outcast if you will.

Those people were right. I am not normal, and that is why I took all the kids who bullied me, combined them into a ball and threw them in the ocean.

Yes, that may seem a tad bit extreme, but what did you expect? That I would just let them go so they could do that to the next freak? You are funny!

I know what you are thinking. You think I am this horrible, dangerous, psychotic thing. In some ways I suppose I am, but I really I am not all that bad.

You see, I can use my power for good, and I do, 80 percent of the time. People know me as “The Merge”. Not to be confused with “The Purge” because that is a totally made-up story.

I am a real person who lives life just like everyone else! Except for the fact that I am much cooler than pretty much everyone on this planet. You see, I am a superhero, with a tad bit of villian inside me, but aren’t all superheros like that?

If you did not guess it already, I have the power to merge things together. Shocking, I know! But it is not just physical objects that I can change, although being able to combine all the ingredients for ice-cream with a snap of the finger is very convenient.

I can also merge ideas and combine multiple realities to make a very, very, very confusing one. My favorite is being able to change my appearance by merging with another person.

That one can get a bit tricky though, especially when I forget to change back before going to the bathroom.

Overall, my power is a gift. It allows me to make a difference in this world, if only I used it for that purpose. Unfortunately, I had a little too much fun and merged two countries together.

I thought it was brilliant, but regardless, the government may be out to get me.

So now, I am incognito driving a Prius. Where you may ask?

Well, that is for me to know and you to... well, who am I kidding?

I have to tell someone! I go by Elise Bennett (my actual name). I am 21 years old and am currently living life as a college student (but I would much rather be out creating new continents but I gotta do what I gotta do).

It is extremely challenging being in college and not using my power. I have come so close to putting ides in my professor’s heads to either...

A, ending class early...

B, giving me good grades...

C, changing the conversation to something people actually enjoy talkng about.

I plan to make the Merge known again in this world very soon.

Having this kind of power should not be locked away or in school. I hope you are ready...
