BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

TUCSON, ARIZONA

SIZE: 17,170 SQ FT

This tenant improvement for the Boys & Girls Club involved a complete renovation of the existing Holmes Tuttle Clubhouse. The renovation touched aspects of the building to provide a new cohesive and revamped environment for the students. The space now provides students with the opportunity explore new interests while developing existing skills. The educational enables students to learn valuable home cooking essentials while also providing

complete interior touched all environment opportunity to educational kitchen providing

additional workspace. The new E-Gaming and VR Studio provides a fun and dynamic way for all students to play and engage with each other while the fitness room and updated gymnasium help engrain the importance of an active lifestyle. A new S.T.E.M. room and multipurpose room provide many opportunities for networking, education, and growth. While the students were the priority throughout this project, the facility also provides fully updated office space for the staff.

In 2018, Salpointe launched the $10 students and the Tucson community. Arts, which houses studios for music, Theater. The project also doubled the installed lighting for the athletic fields,

$10 million ASPIRE: Arts Academics Athletics capital project to further support its community. The initiative resulted in the creation of the dynamic Stearns Center for the music, dance, choir, and 2D/3D art, along with a significantly enhanced Corcoran the size of the weight room, added air conditioning to Kalil Gym and Alumni Hall, fields, and transformed four classrooms into six new learning spaces.

SALPOINTE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Prior to this project, Salpointe’s fine arts classrooms were dispersed across the campus, lacking a clearly defined order. The new Center for the Arts consolidates these programs into one cohesive hub, highlighting the importance of the arts program. The building

introduces dedicated spaces for dance, drama, band, choir, and both 2D and 3D art. The project also includes a renovated theater and a new gallery, providing students with a unified environment to learn, create, and showcase their award-winning work.

SALPOINTE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL

RISE ABOVE

TUCSON, ARIZONA

SIZE: 15,598 SQ FT

In the Summer of 2022, the Salpointe’s English Wing was tragically destroyed due to arson. Unable to salvage the building, the decision was made to fully demolish the structure and build something new. A two-story building was built in its place to accommodate the displaced English Department on the first floor and a new Wellness Center on the second floor, which includes an instructional kitchen, meditation room, and multiple activity rooms. This project symbolizes a rebirth after a disaster, a literal rising above the ashes.

PIMA MEDICAL HEADQUARTERS

MEDICAL INSTITUTE

Pima Medical Institute’s flagship campus is the former site of Townsend Middle School. The 75,000 s.f. building is organized around a beautiful, covered courtyard that encompasses approximately 25,000 square feet. The exterior of the former Tucson Unified School District building was completely transformed from a utilitarian middle school to a state-of-the-art medical campus. While working with the existing structural skeleton, the interior has been completely remodeled to give the facility a modern collegiate aesthetic.
