OUR CAMPUS
Seattle University’s 55-acre campus is considered one of the most sustainable in the United States. That translates into a lush, green space with plenty of trees and places to lounge outdoors.
But SU’s stellar reputation is not just about our amazing outdoor spaces. It’s about our reflective spaces ready for your quiet contemplation. It’s about our makerspaces ready for your creativity. It’s about every corner of campus—from our athletic fields to our classrooms— that awakens when students become Redhawks.
PUGET SOUND
Our location is unbeatable for professional formation. It provides access and ample opportunities for internships and careers at some of the largest companies in the world.
YOUR HOME IN THE CITY:
RESIDENT HOUSING & DINING
Even the most experienced city dweller needs a home base. So we ask first- and second-year students to stay on-campus unless they’re living with family. With nine residential options available to different levels of undergraduates, you’ll find housing that grows with your needs.
We also have six dining locations on campus, where you can choose from dozens of options. Grab an orange blossom iced coffee for an afternoon treat, then stop for some fresh sushi or a wood fired pizza after classes are done. With a focus on variety, nutrition and sustainability, you’ll find plenty to tempt your taste buds.
Our centrally located residential campus gives you the best of all worlds—a caring community that feels like home, steps away from everything Seattle has to offer.
REDHAWKS SOAR
With 20 varsity teams competing in NCAA Division I and the Western Athletic Conference, Redhawks have plenty to cheer about. Our gifted student athletes have brought home more than 60 conference championships over the past 10 years, with thousands of Redhawks cheering them on. We’re also preparing for our July 2025 return to the West Coast Conference, where Redhawks will face rivals new and old.
Not a student athlete? We have 17 club sports and intramural sports leagues with tournaments offered year-round. Whatever your skill level, we welcome you to participate in the joy athletics can bring.
