For the seventh straight year, Seattle University School of Law has the nation’s top-ranked Legal Writing Program.

Our faculty literally wrote the book on legal writing. Their textbooks are used at law schools throughout the country.

The Legal Writing Collaborative brings actual legal work into each first-year Legal Writing course. These projects, done jointly with the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic, provide training in practical skills and ignite your passion for the practice of law.
