Description This book taps into the market for cute, easy knits with a vintage feel. Including knitting patterns for seven different cute animal toys – a rabbit, a kitten, a mouse, a puppy, a panda, a teddy and a monkey, each approx. 8 inches (20cm) high, all are easy and quick to knit.

In 1974 Bammes was awarded the National Prize of the German Democratic Republic for Science and Technology and received the Culture and Art Prize of the City of Freital in 2000. He died in 2007.
