Open enrollment for the State Health Plan is currently underway and will end on Halloween, Oct. 31. This is a perfect time for you to check out SEANC’s insurance programs to see if we can save you some money! SEANC offers many different plans meant to help members get the most bang for their buck. Deadline to register to vote is approaching! The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is next week. For most of the state, you must be registered to vote by Oct. 12 in order to vote in the Nov. 6 election. The state has extended the deadline to Oct. 15 for counties affected by Hurricane Florence. You can access a registration form here. Simply complete it and mail it in to your county’s Board of Elections, or drop it off in person. SEANC also needs your help to make sure our members' voices are heard at the ballot box. We need volunteers to help in a number of tasks this election season, from placing yard signs to calling fellow members to knocking on doors. Need help recovering from Hurricane Florence? If you or a fellow member suffered damage from Hurricane Florence, please remember that members can apply for a grant from the SEANC Fallen Member/Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The fund is available to members in good standing with SEANC for at least six months prior to applying. Directions for applying for aid can be found here, along with information on contributing to the fund.
